On August 14, 2024, Dr DisRespect shared a post on X hinting at his return to streaming months after going on a hiatus following grooming allegations against him. The post comes hours after the content creator deleted his initial statement about texting a minor.

For those unaware of the controversy, in June 2024, former Twitch staffers claimed that the purple platform banned Dr DisRespect in 2020 because he was caught sending inappropriate texts to a minor. In the wake of the scandal, the streamer put out a statement acknowledging his actions and announced a long hiatus.

Now, it seems the YouTube star might be returning to content creation. He wrote in the X post:

"Vacation is just too good right now. We'll be back soon though Champs. We have lots to talk about. Yayaya yayaya yayaya"

Dr DisRespect's recent internet activities explored as streamer hints at comeback

Soon after the allegations against Dr DisRespect started garnering attention online a few months ago, the YouTube star stepped down from his gaming company Midnight Society. With brands cutting ties with the streamer, he went on a hiatus from both social media and streaming.

Since then, Dr DisRespect has been completely absent from the usual online spaces until July 31, 2024, when he posted a photo of himself playing chess and checkers on X. The post got a lot of negative reactions, with many people calling him out for texting a minor.

With his latest post on August 14, 2024, it seems the streamer will be making a comeback soon. What's more, he has also deleted his initial statement about the grooming accusations that went viral back in June.

Dr DisRespect has been getting a lot of pushback for deleting the post, with many people noting how the allegations will not be forgotten. Regardless, the internet personality has yet to announce a definite day for a comeback.

Readers should note that the content creator's YouTube channel was demonetized soon after the allegations were made public in June.
