YouTube streamer "Ludwig" Ahgren has responded to a viewer's accusations that he "scammed" them. On August 13, 2024, Redditor u/FattyPotatty posted an update on the content creator's official subreddit, r/LudwigAhgren, expressing dissatisfaction with the experience they had after ordering the streamer's "overpriced clothing."

Providing details about the matter, the Redditor wrote:

"I ordered during the June 17th sale where Aiden and Ludwig both said items would be shipped out promptly. I ordered it the same day as Ludwig's stream advertising the special. I waited until July 2nd before getting curious, 'Boy, where is the overpriced clothing I purchased that was meant to be shipped out weeks ago?' I contacted support. Mike, who told me a week after (July 9th) the first time I contacted him that my items, 'took longer than expected to unload, but, rest assured, it'll be sent next week.'"

The user further explained the troubles they encountered, saying:

Two weeks pass. It's now July 23rd, and I ask Mike again, "Hey man, any updates?" To which I'm told, 'Sorry dude, your package has been put on a manual hold. I'll get it fixed and send you a tracking number ASAP!' I never received a tracking number."

Redditor u/FattyPotatty went on to say that after receiving the shipment, they discovered that the socks and sweatshirt they ordered were not sent:

"I open the box to see just some sweatpants? No socks? No sweatshirt? Two months of waiting for a special I only bought because I wouldn't have to wait two months for them to be made. I've now waited two months. You guys owe me a sweatshirt and socks."

Ludwig addressed the issue in a YouTube video uploaded to his Ludwin channel. According to him, 68 orders out of over 10,000 did not receive their items within the specified time period. The Los Angeles-based personality then announced that he and his team would be refunding money to those who "got scammed":

"After looking into this, I found out about this yesterday. It turns out that he's not the only one who has experienced this. In fact, there are 68 total orders, who did not receive their items in the time period they expected. Now, bear in mind, there were over 10,000 orders in total. So, it impacts a very small percentage of people. But, to address it, we're refunding the people who got scammed. The 68. And also, still delivering the items."

Ludwig claims the issue related to his apparel not being delivered to some fans in time was caused by a new manufacturer

In the YouTube video titled, addressing the scam allegations, Ludwig claimed that some of his fans not receiving apparel in time was caused by a new manufacturer:

"Basically, we used a new manufacturer, and they said they would send us, like, I don't know, let's just say a thousand of an item, and they only sent us, like, 700 or something. They basically didn't send them as much. So, that's the main issue. Not going to blame Aiden at all."
