FaZe Swagg has announced a return to Twitch after his two-year stint on YouTube. For context, the FaZe Clan member had signed a contract with YouTube Gaming in September 2022 and on August 31, 2024, the livestreamer revealed that he was returning to the Amazon-owned platform.

Fans of the popular Call of Duty content creator were quite excited about the Twitch comeback after FaZe Swagg announced it with a short clip captioned "New Chapter, Old friend." Fellow community members, Twitch streamers, and fans have flooded the post on X and congratulated him on the decision to return to his old platform. Here are some general reactions:

"Welcome back kiddy", wrote Twitch streamer TheBoiSantana.
"To many more Ws for you bro", claimed his fellow org member and co-founder of FaZe Clan Apex.
"yeasssssir", chimed in OpTic Hitch to the news.
"During subtember is a great time to make your return mate", noted X user @Carpo_31.
"Happy you are back to twitch man! Can’t wait for the vibes", said @iXyillo.

FaZe Swagg announces Twitch comeback stream date and time as YouTube exclusivity deal ends

FaZe Swagg was one of the many Twitch streamers to move to YouTube under exclusivity contracts back in 2022 and it seems like many others, he is making a comeback to his old platform. For those unaware, an exclusivity deal prohibits creators from making content on other platforms.

Considering FaZe Swagg has announced that he will be doing his first Twitch livestream in two years on September 1 at 10 am PST (or 1 pm EST), it means the FaZe Clan member's exclusivity deal has expired and he is free to make content on any platform.

At the time of his departure, the streamer had over 2.1 million followers on Twitch. Known for his FPS streams, FaZe Swagg was playing Warzone at the time and according to Twitch Tracker, averaged around 9.2K concurrent viewers on his channel in August 2022.

To announce his return, the streamer posted a minute-long clip featuring other Twitch and YouTube streamers who can be seen signing a petition to make him come back to the purple platform. The video includes his fellow org members such as Jasontheween and StableRonaldo, and others such as TimTheTatman as well.
