Popular Twitch streamer Kylie "Sketch", also known as, thesketchreal, has announced his comeback stream days after the OF controversy. For the unaware, the streamer was under a lot of scrutiny earlier this week after explicit images from a couple of years ago were widely shared on the internet, leading to many calling him a homosexual.
While many of his fellow Twitch streamers and esports veterans like FaZe Banks defended him and called out the homophobia, the whole situation took a toll on Sketch who stopped his regular streaming schedule after addressing the situation in a small broadcast. Now, fans are celebrating because Sketch made a post on July 12 announcing that he will be streaming tomorrow July 13.
Here are some of the replies to his post on X, with some calling him the king:
"WELCOME BACK KING", stated X user @DaRealNathan
"LETS GOOO GOAT", said @PortersBurgh
"Let’s go! Keep on keeping on brother", chimed in @Domin8rGaming
Some of Sketch's fellow content creators also replied to the news of his comeback to Twitch, with FaZe Swagg sending white hearts.
"Goat is back!", wrote Kick streamer Citrus
"Good sh*t brother Keep crushing it", replied OTK's Yung Jeff
"Nothing can grow in the dark": Sketch announces comeback Twitch stream
The Sketch OF controversy has been the talk of the streaming industry over the last week, with popular content creators such as Asmongold, Tfue, FaZe Banks all talking about it extensively on their streams or social media. As mentioned, the scandal started a few days ago after the Twitch streamer's pictures in adult content were shared online.
Sketch took to Twitch on July 9 to address the allegations and confirmed having slept with a man. However, he also claimed that has changed as a person and that he was going through a lot of problems including addiction during that phase of his life.
His response saw an outpouring of support from a majority of his fan base. However, some content creators like Rumble streamer Sneako openly called him out for lying about his past.
Since July 9 Sketch has not gone live on his channel which has over a million followers. Now, it seems that the streamer will be making a comeback and announced that he will be going live tomorrow in a post on X, stating:
"Nothing can grow in the dark, see y’all tomorrow"
The post has garnered a lot of attention from his fans and supporters who are looking forward to his first proper stream after the OF controversy.
