Popular Kick streamer Luis "WestCol" has surpassed fellow streamer and Kick co-owner Adin Ross to become the most followed creator on the website. For several months, Adin Ross was the most followed and became the first creator on the platform to reach the 1 million follower mark (February 2024). WestCol has finally taken the number 1 spot, currently boasting just over 1.5 million followers.

WestCol's Stream Fighter 3 garners over 1 million concurrent viewers

Colombian streamer WestCol has emerged as a powerhouse in terms of online presence on Kick. The Spanish-speaking streamer is currently the most followed creator on the platform, and his recent event showcases the significant surge in his follower count.

WestCol's Stream Fighters 3 (amateur boxing event) drew over 1 million concurrent viewers, marking the highest peak any live stream has ever reached on the platform. He became the first streamer on Kick to surpass 1 million live viewers.

This was announced by the official Kick (Spanish) X account. They wrote (translated via Google):

"Congratulations to @WestCOL for being the first to reach 1M viewers on Kick. We keep on pushing our butts so that the live broadcast doesn't fall."

Previously, this record was held by Adin Ross, whose recent stream with presidential candidate Donald Trump peaked at just over 500K viewers (August 2024). However, this has now been shattered by the Colombian streamer.

For those unfamiliar with WestCol's content, he is primarily a Spanish-speaking Minecraft streamer. However, he also frequently streams under the "Just Chatting" category. He has a Twitch account with over 1.5 million followers, which is currently inactive.
