YouTuber Nick Rekieta, who goes by the online alias Rekieta Law, has had allegations of child endangerment levied against him in a leaked document that was shared on social media. The document went viral after reports suggested that Nick's nine-year-old daughter had tested positive for a drug.

Rekieta Law, who is known for political and social commentary, addressed the leak in a livestream dated June 18. He appeared to confirm the existence of the document which alleged he had been charged with child endangerment. However, the YouTuber has denied the findings of the report to Null (Josh Moon), the owner of internet forum Kiwi Farms.

A screenshot of Null's message has been garnering a lot of attention on social media. In it, he claimed that Rekieta posited that the amount of drugs that the report claims to be in his daughter's body would have killed her. A relevant portion of the message reads:

"He (Rekieta Law) claims the test is faulty, is testing a metabolite which exists outside of the body, and also that the levels of cocaine they are suggesting she had in her would indicate that she should be dead."

Readers should note that in his most recent livestream, Rekieta Law showed little interest in his public image and openly cussed at his viewers and friends who have asked him to issue an apology.

Exploring the initial allegations of child endangerment against Rekieta Law

A set of pictures of what appears to be a legal document were posted on the controversial forum Kiwi Farms. The title of the document suggests that it is a welfare report about Nick Rekieta's children who were tested for drugs following a court hearing.

The document, which was initially unverified, reveals that a CHIPS (Child in Need of Protection or Services) petition was filed against the YouTuber on May 24, 2024, and that preliminary investigation by established cause for concern in the matter of the five children Rekieta Law has with wife Kayla.

Various narcotic substances were reportedly found at their residence after the police executed a search warrant on May 23. The leaked report notes that authorities deemed the children's living conditions to be dangerous, with a relevant section of the document stating that the Kandiyohi County Health and Human Services (KCHHS) should take custody of the children:

"The children are in surroundings or conditions that endanger the children's health, safety, or welfare requiring responsibility for the children's care and custody to be immediately assumed by KCHHS."

This comes after drug tests for the children were turned in, with Rekieta Law's nine-year-old daughter Audreyrose Rekieta testing positive for cocaine. On the same page where the report suggests the children be placed in KCHHS custody, the findings state:

"After being placed out of the home the children were subject to hair follicle drug testing. All of the children except for Audreyrose tested negative. Audreyrose tested positive for Cocaine at a level of over 5000 with a cutoff of 500."

A trial date for the custody of Rekieta Law's children has been set to begin sometime in July (between 23 and 26 July) with the pretrial conference to be held on July 15. However, the report also notes that both Nick and Kayla have "hampered" their chances of reuniting with their children by revoking ROIs, not submitting to drug testing, and not allowing KCHHS access to their home.
