Jimmy Donaldson, better known as MrBeast, has revealed the findings of the internal investigation that he had promised would be conducted into his company earlier this year. In a post on X, the popular YouTuber and entrepreneur shared a two-page document detailing the findings and recommendations from a three-month investigation by a third party.
For the unaware, after the Ava Kris Tyson grooming controversy, MrBeast and his other associates garnered a lot of backlash online with many demanding action be taken against the individuals accused of sexual misconduct (including sending explicit and inappropriate content to minors).
As per the screenshot shared by Donaldson, the investigation has refuted these claims and states that it found no instance of misconduct regarding minors. Other key points discussed in the internal investigation include absolving the company of knowingly hiring people with criminal pasts and an advisory statement about the need for a new CEO and change in major leadership roles.
Exploring the internal investigation into MrBeast's company
As mentioned by the YouTuber, the "unbiased" investigation lasted three months, during which MrBeast was supposedly asked not to comment on it to preserve the integrity of the report. Here are some of the major points revealed by the document shared by MrBeast.
The first of the three "significant findings" in the internal ingestion deemed the company employees not guilty of the several accusations of pedophilia and grooming that have been plaguing MrBeast's company since the Ava Kris Tyson grooming scandal. The relevant section of the document states that no evidence to support such allegations was found:
"Allegations of sexual misconduct (e.g., pedophilia, grooming, child pornography, etc.) between Company employees and minors are without basis. The allegations were soundly rejected, including by alleged victims."
The investigation also ruled out the accusations that MrBeast had hired individuals with criminal pasts.
"Allegations of the Company knowingly employing individuals with proclivities or histories towards illegal or questionable legal conduct are similarly without basis. Here, too, the allegations were uniformly rejected."
This goes against the prior allegations made by former employees Jack Weddle and DogPack404 who had claimed in a video titled I Worked For MrBeast, He's A Sociopath that the YouTuber had knowingly covered up hiring a person named "Delaware" who was an alleged sex-offender.
The third finding of the internal investigation acknowledges that "isolated instances" have occurred at the organization which merits disciplinary action. The company has apparently already taken steps to rectify the mistakes, including disciplining the individuals involved.
"Several isolated instances of workplace harassment and misconduct were identified during the investigation. The Company was informed of such conduct and took swift and appropriate actions to address the incidents, including, where necessary, disciplining or letting go of implicated individuals."
Apart from these three major findings, the internal investigation has made several recommendations for MrBeast's company including changing the tone used by the brass, mandatory corporate training for all employees, establishing an anonymous hotline to address grievances, and restructuring the management.
The document shared by MrBeast suggests that his company has either already changed or is in the process of hiring a new CEO, Chief People Officer, Chief Financial Officer, and a new General Counsel.
