Ben Potter even wrote a backup story for the character Bloodshot, created by Valiant Entertainment. Back in 2021, he told CBR in an interview that he was planning to return to the world of comics but could not find a way out for the same. He said that he was busy with his YouTube channels and podcasts.

"So my overall concern was that this would just turn into a project I started and couldn't finish. I was explaining this to Josh Johns of Valiant at the time and he asked how I felt about writing a backup," he added.

Ben Potter revealed that they were frequently working on the story but it was canceled at one point. However, he did not give up and approached Valiant Entertainment, who were satisfied with his writing.
