Popular YouTube streamer IShowSpeed's recent IRL livestream from Singapore was abruptly shut down while he was at the Universal Studios amusement park. Since then, rumors about the YouTuber's arrest have started floating around the internet.

However, no reports have confirmed the news and it seems his broadcast was stopped due to a Singaporean law. Given how popular he is worldwide, his supposed arrest would have certainly made the news. Furthermore, his cameraman and manager Slipz has shared an update, asking fans not to blame Universal Studios after the stream was interrupted.

Notably, the official Universal Studios Singapore account had even promoted IShowSpeed's stream.

In a post on X, Slipz revealed that the stream was taken down because it violated the law in Singapore:

"Universal Studios is not at fault— we were told it's the law! Lmao. Don't hate on them."

Security guards forced IShowSpeed to end stream in Singapore

IShowSpeed's South-East Asia tour has gone viral on not just the internet. Legions of fans have been flocking to the YouTuber's location every time he goes live. His biggest stream by far was when he visited Indonesia, with the broadcast breaking his personal record and reaching over a million concurrent viewers.

After leaving Indonesia, the streamer chose to travel to Singapore. However, the stream was not smooth with multiple disruptions due to poor internet connection in certain places. The biggest issue arose during IShowSpeed's visit to Universal Studios Singapore.

While the streamer had managed to get in and broadcast for a bit, he was stopped by security before getting into one of the Transformers-themed rides. To the dismay of viewers, the livestream soon cut out and it appears the YouTuber also took down the VOD from his channel.

As Slipz has noted, the livestream violated Singapore law and therefore needed to be shut down. However, Speed did not stop exploring the country and even visited the F1 Track. Hours later, the streamer uploaded a video from Malaysia where he met the crown prince of Johar.

By the next day, the streamer had started his Cambodia stream and it is unclear whether he will be returning to Singapore.
