Internet personality Joe Budden shut down recent claims by Jaguar Wright about him and rapper Stevie J. During Sunday's (October 6, 2024) episode of his eponymous podcast, the former rapper denied Wright's claims that she had seen a video involving the two men in a compromising situation.

Budden responded with his usual candor, stating:

"I don't think it's tough to throw a volleyball in the ocean and hit water. And I feel like that's what this lady has been doing for quite some time."

He elaborated:

"She is grabbing the salacious and very obvious headlines and expounding on them with s**t. And again I'm only saying this 'cause I heard her say out of her mouth that she saw a video of Stevie J and Joe Budden f**king."

He proceeded to note that he knows with "100% certainty" she's just saying "s**t."

While it remains unclear when exactly Wright made the comments about Joe Budden, the topic came up for discussion after her controversial interview with Piers Morgan last week. She claimed Jay-Z and Beyonce were "monsters" with "hundreds of victims."

"Y'all are still putting a mic in this b*tch's face?"- Joe Budden about Jaguar Wright's controversial comments

Before addressing the Jaguar Wright claims in the episode, Joe Budden rhetorically questioned why people are still making her a thing. He even remarked:

"Ya'll are making me have to talk about Pierce Morgan interviews now? Y'all are still putting a mic in this b*tch's face?"

The podcaster questioned why anyone online doesn't want people to show proof. He explained the phrase, "I got receipts (meaning to have evidence)," has lost its meaning, adding if someone claimed they have evidence of something, they should show it.

It prompts a co-host to respond that if people are withholding proof of a crime like s*x trafficking, they are equally guilty.

After the Mood Muzik artist shut down Wright's claims, co-host Lamar "Ice" Burney joked:

"What if you didn’t know there was a camera in that room?"

As everybody laughed, Joe Budden put an end to all speculations, stating:

"I’ve never been in any situation where someone tried to overtake—that’s never happened to me."

Jaguar Wright recently made headlines after her appearance on Piers Morgan's talk show Uncensored on Thursday, October 3. While discussing Sean "Diddy" Combs's federal indictment and subsequent arrest, she made allegations about Beyonce and Jay-Z (real name Shawn Carter).

Per a report by The Hollywood Reporter, she told the host:

"For four years I’ve been screaming not just Diddy, but Diddy and Jay-Z are monsters."

At one point, she remarked:

"Harvey Weinstein, Jeffrey Epstein, Robert Kelly, Sean Combs have one person in common professionally and privately: Shawn Carter."

Elsewhere in the interview, Wright claimed that the couple had "hundreds of victims." However, she did not further clarify the nature of the alleged crime.

As a result, Hov and Beyonce's legal team sent a letter to Piers Morgan stating the claims were "totally false" and had no basis in facts. This prompted Morgan to issue an apology to the couple and cut the allegations from the original interview.

Jaguar Wright has not publicly reacted to Joe Budden's comments.
