Controversial influencer Tristan and his brother Andrew Tate recently lost a civil court case filed at Westminster Magistrates Court, London, with the judge ruling that the two have failed to pay any tax whatsoever on their earnings of more than $26.6 million (or £21 million) from their online business ventures.
This takes into account the revenues earned from Tate's War Room, Hustlers' University, Cobra Tate, and OnlyF**s ventures for eight years between 2014 and 2022. Subsequently, the two are being forced to forfeit $3.5 million (or £2.8 million) through seven frozen banks belonging to the Tate brothers and a woman referred to only as "J".
The brothers had supposedly put $12 million (approximately £9.5 million) into an account under the woman's name, even though she had no role within the pair's businesses.
Reportedly, the judge involved in the proceedings, Chief Magistrate Paul Goldspring, claimed that the Tate brothers were involved in a "straightforward cheat of the revenue".
What was Andrew Tate's response to losing the UK tax evasion case?

Controversial internet personality and self-proclaimed misogynist, Andrew Tate often makes headlines owing to his involvement in legal battles across countries. For instance, the influencer's compound in Romania was raided by the Romanian law enforcement agency DIICOT (Directorate for Investigating Organized Crime and Terrorism) in August 2024, over accusations of him trafficking and sexually assaulting minors.
As reported by SkyNews, the judge stated the following as part of the ruling against the brothers:
"I am satisfied on the balance of probabilities that they have engaged in long-standing, deliberate conduct in order to evade their tax/VAT liabilities in both Romania and the UK."
Reportedly, while responding to the ruling by the chief magistrate, Andrew Tate labeled it a "coordinated attack" and stated the following:
“First, they labelled me a human trafficker, yet they couldn’t find a single woman to stand against me. When that narrative crumbled, they turned to outright theft, freezing my accounts for more than two years and now seizing everything they could."
The statement reportedly made by Andrew Tate for the current is strikingly similar to his remarks after being arrested and subsequently released by Romanian authorities over human trafficking allegations in August 2024. At the time, he claimed the act against them to be "a set-up".
