Von referenced social media posts where the YouTuber had teased the idea of a presidential run.

For context, in July 2024, MrBeast posted on X, suggesting he would consider running for US President if the age requirement was lowered. Currently, US law mandates that a person must be at least 35 years old to run for the nation’s highest office.

When Von brought up the post, the content creator clarified that it was intended as a joke to spark online conversation. He added that while he might pursue a presidential bid in the future, it wouldn’t happen until he’s in his 50s or 60s.

"No, I mean. I might when I am older, but not now. If they lowered it, it was mostly a joke. Just knew the people would freak the f**k out and talk about it, and it worked. But if I were to do it, it would probably be like when I am 50 or 60."

MrBeast elaborated on why he wouldn’t think about running for President until he reached the age of 50. He explained that he would first need to complete his business goals and work his way up through local and state-level politics before considering a presidential campaign:

"'Cus I would need to accomplish everything I want to in business and stuff and probably take 10 years and do something at the local and state level and work my way up."

Theo Von pressed him about the issue, stating:

"So there could be a potential Beast President, you never know."

This prompted the content creator to admit that there was a strong possibility he could eventually run for President.
