YouTube star Darren "IShowSpeed" (or simply Speed) has had a rather eventful last couple of weeks on his viral Southeast Asian tour. However, with the tour now over, Speed has reportedly returned to Florida. Today (September 30, 2024), the streamer took to his alternative X.com account (@ronaldobetter07) to make a rather cryptic post about his love life. He wrote:
"Being in love is so bad. You can’t think rationally and the only way to get out of love is to stay in love."
Despite it being his secondary account, it is followed by over 133K people. So, naturally, his seemingly arcane words soon garnered several comments from the online community, as one fan wrote:
"Who broke your heart brother," said @officialvrewls
Others, who were left confused, confronted the streamer about his post, as another said:
"Wtf are you talking about?" said @imhimeight
Well, Speed Speed did not waste any time responding to the comment above, writing:
"Y'all don't care about my feelings and what I think"
In fact, Slipz, Speed's longtime cameraman, also took to the comment section and said:
"Have the conversation, don’t hide your feelings"
However, some fans were more interested in his return to streaming, as they wrote:
"I speak for everyone when I say bring back the desktops. The IRL era has come to an end," said @SydiusVibes
Who has IShowSpeed dated before?
As one of the biggest stars in the online community, IShowSpeed's private life has always piqued the curiosity of his fans. One of Speed's earliest and confirmed relationships was with Dream Wynter. The two briefly dated towards the end of 2021.
The next person linked to Speed is Aaliyah Wasko. While the two went on several dates during live streams, there is no solid proof that they dated outside of their online interactions. Their relationship took a sharp turn after Speed accused Aaliyah of cheating on him, leading to a fallout in December 2023.
The streamer's next relationship is even more controversial, as the girl in question, Amy Flamy, is a creator herself with over 1 million followers on TikTok. The pair never officially dated, although they went on a few dates during live streams.
Unfortunately, this relationship also ended after a major argument online, with Amy calling out Speed for allowing a hairstylist, who was invited to Speed's stream, to make rude comments about their relationship.
