Streamers getting into fistfights is nothing new in the world of IRL (in real life) streaming. Fiiivestar, a Miami-based Twitch streamer who has 37.8K followers to his name, has joined the club. The streamer recently featured on several X pages after a clip of him went viral. In the clip, he was seen assaulting an individual live on stream.
A glance at his profile reveals that he mostly does desktop streams (streams under the "Just Chatting" section). However, he also hosts IRL streams now and then.
The viral clip featured him confronting a stranger, who was allegedly intoxicated and had followed him for an extended period. It all came to a boiling point when the streamer slammed him to the ground and launched some blows at the individual. Watch the clip here:
"Didn’t leave me alone" - Twitch streamer Fiiivestar explains the situation
Fiiivestar shared his side of the story on X. He stated that the individual had tried to grab him and get into his face for half an hour. Whatever unfolded in the clip had been a consequence of that:
"(He) didn’t leave me alone. For 30+ mins kept grabbing me and getting in my face. I’m a nice guy but don’t push my limits."
The origin of the clip, i.e., the VOD of the stream, is currently unavailable, making it unclear what exactly happened afterward. The last part of the clip shows the streamer grabbing the stranger by his throat.
Twitch has strict guidelines against violence on stream. Typically, they can remove the content or even revoke monetization tools. In some cases, the user can also be banned. However, at the time of writing, Fiiivestar is still active on Twitch.
Not the only occasion of streamers fighting live
There are numerous recent instances of streamers getting into fights on livestreams. For example, Kick streamers Rangesh "N3on" and Jack Doherty were recently involved in a similar altercation during the recently concluded Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship. The two initially grappled inside the arena. After being kicked out, they continued the fight outside.
Moreover, during a livestream hosted by Jack Doherty, he was assaulted by one of the Island Boys (Franky Venegas). Jack even alleged that Franky had mistakenly hit his girlfriend during the altercation.
Such altercations mostly end up happening on Kick, but Twitch is no exception it seems.
