The latest video from YouTube star Jimmy "MrBeast" involved fifty creators battling it out for a massive prize of $1 million. The video featured a wide variety of challenges, including the creators completing a basketball free-throw and etching out the infamous Squid Games cookies.
After successfully evading elimination and completing the challenges presented in the video, it was Jaiden "Jaiden Animations" who made it through to the very end and won the $1,000,000 prize. The creators were to utilize this prize money for their subscribers. The video has netizens in a chokehold, with many expressing their enthusiasm regarding the same on X.
Jaiden Animations is a well-known YouTuber who often creates story-telling videos, talking about topics such as gaming, personal experiences, and her hobbies. She has a unique style of illustrating her stories and fleshing them out through her drawings. Her skills have garnered her a massive following on the platform, having amassed over 12.8 million subscribers.
Jaiden Animations wins against 50 creators in MrBeast's latest video
Jaiden Animations was one of the five other participants who were left near the end of the video. The other participants remaining were Twitch creators Ludwig, Alexandra "BotezLive," YouTuber Maxime "Amixem," and American chef Nick DiGiovanni.
The creators were handed five suitcases, with four of them being empty and one containing a check worth a million dollars. Each participant was only allowed to look into their suitcase. All participants had to vote for a creator to open their suitcase.
If they were to select a participant with an empty suitcase, that individual was eliminated from the competition. However, if they inadvertently selected the participant who possessed the suitcase with the million-dollar check, that individual would win the challenge and the sum of money. Further, each creator had to convince the others to vote to get them eliminated, by possibly bluffing that they did not have the suitcase with the check.
Ludwig was voted out during the first round and possessed an empty suitcase, leading to his elimination. For the second round, the suitcases were shuffled yet again. This time, it was Jaiden who was selected, and to even MrBeast's surprise, she turned out to be the one holding the winning suitcase.
Upon being asked how she would give the money away to her subscribers, she tearfully replied:
"It's hard for a lot of artists out there. I just... I'd really like to send a lot of them to art school."
This challenge is one of the many showcasing MrBeast's ability to organize game show-like videos involving entertaining contests and interactions. The YouTuber is going to apply these very abilities in his upcoming game show on Prime Video, called Beast Games. The creator announced the same in March 2024, calling it the "largest game show in history".
