Mark "OhnePixel" is a well-known Twitch streamer whose content primarily focuses on creating content related to Valve's Counter-Strike series. The Austrian content creator's live broadcasts often dabble in him playing Counter-Strike, reacting to other's matches, and educating his audience about the in-game economy and in-game skin trading.
OhnePixel also unboxes in-game skin cases while streaming, sometimes ending up with lucky rewards. He began streaming on Twitch in 2019 and has since made a name for himself in the Counter-Strike community. His influence can be evidenced by his massive following on Twitch, amounting to 1.4 million followers.
Earlier this year, he also became a co-owner of the Counter-Strike skin trading platform Skinbid, along with ULTI Agency, an esports organization. Thus, the streamer's recent announcement of signing a team for the upcoming Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024 comes as no surprise.
OhnePixel will coach his Counter-Strike team for the Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024
In a post made on X on August 12, 2024, OhnePixel announced his own team for the Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024 event, which is a Chinese Counter-Strike 2 tournament held offline and organized by Perfect World. Notably, it is a "Major" event, which is the common name for a Valve Major Championship.
A Major tournament is sponsored by Valve itself and offers a prize pool of $1,250,000. The S-Tier Tournament will take place from November 30 to December 15, 2024, and will feature a total of twenty-four teams duking it out to make it to the top.
Within the post made by OhnePixel, the Counter-Strike Streamer of the Year Award recipient also listed the members of his team, including Volodymyr "Woro2k", Ali "hAdji", Tal "meztal", Meytar "AMSALEM", and Vladislav "Kvem". Woro2k will act as the in-game leader of the team.
OhnePixel recently found out during a live stream that he had been blocked by Counter-Strike's official account on X. The revelation came as a surprise to the streamer, with many netizens speculating that the streamer's focus on other competitive shooter games like Valorant may have invited the move.
