On January 4, 2025, FaZe Clan member Nick "FaZe Lacy" got banned on Twitch. This update came from an automated X account, @StreamerBans, announcing that the content creator had been suspended from the Amazon-owned livestreaming platform for the third time.

Eventually, some X users reported that FaZe Lacy was banned from Twitch after his channel was hacked and explicit adult content was broadcasted on it.

X user @FearedBuck posted:

"Lacy's Twitch account is currently hacked and is live sharing explicit images."

Daniel "Keemstar's" Drama Alert also posted an update.

"Lacy banned on Twitch after a hacker got into his page and streamed racist gay p**n," @DramaAlert posted on January 4, 2025.

The FaZe Clan member later confirmed that his Twitch channel had been hacked. He apologized to his audience for the content that was livestreamed on his account:

"I am hacked, I have no access to my account and can't end my stream. Working on it now, sorry for anyone who is seeing this disgusting stuff."

FaZe Lacy's Twitch channel was reinstated approximately 40 minutes after the ban was issued.

Jasontheween claims he called Twitch CEO Dan Clancy to get Lacy's channel unbanned

On the same day (January 4, 2025), a minute-long video, featuring Jason "Jasontheween," surfaced on X, in which he claimed to have contacted Twitch CEO Dan Clancy about FaZe Lacy's suspension.

While describing his conversation with the platform's chief executive, Jasontheween stated:

"I just made a boss call to Dan. The man, bruh! I called him, he was like, 'Did someone get suspended?' He did. He didn't know what was going on. He was like, 'Did someone get suspended?' I'm like, 'How do you know?' (Jasontheween reads his Twitch chat) 'Actually unbanned.' Bruh, how am I getting baited this bad?! (Jasontheween sees FaZe Lacy's channel has been reinstated) Oh! Yes! Good s**t, man! Free! Let's go!"

Alexander "FaZe Adapt" was present on Jasontheween's livestream, and he responded:

"You got a direct line to the CEO? Oh, wait. That is crazy! So, he'll be free? You put in a word with the boss. Wow!"

FaZe Lacy made headlines on December 12, 2024, when he responded to a college student who gave a presentation about him in his final semester.
