YouTube streamer Darren "IShowSpeed" (or "Speed") was left aggravated after a stranger showed her middle fingers to the streamer outside a restaurant. The event in question took place yesterday (July 16) in Hungary. For those unaware, Speed is currently touring Europe and has already visited several countries, the latest being Hungary.
Towards the end of the stream (at around the one hour and 47-minute mark), Speed was heading out of a local restaurant. His visit had attracted a crowd of fans. Although visiting customers were generally bemused by the large crowd outside the restaurant, one of them flung her middle finger as the streamer was walking by.
This angered IShowSpeed, who quickly confronted the lady. He said:
"Middle finger to me? Why are you showing the middle finger to me? (Speaking to another stranger at the same table) She put the middle finger to me. Why though? (The lady replied, 'We are trying to have dinner.') I tried to have dinner, okay? Don't put the middle finger."
Speaking to another individual (also from the same group), he said:
"She put the middle finger on me for no reason. (The man replied, 'That's fine but we are just trying to eat dinner.') I tried to eat dinner too, okay? I'm just trying to do the same thing."
What other countries has IShowSpeed visited in Europe in 2024?
IShowSpeed has had an eventful month. The streamer has been touring Europe, visiting several countries as part of his original plan to attend the recently concluded UEFA Euros 2024 in Germany.
One of IShowSpeed's most viral streams was his Norway IRL stream on July 4, 2024. The streamer was stuck in a store in Oslo and couldn't get out due to a mob of people gathering outside the building. When he finally managed to leave, he was left bruised and assaulted.
He has also visited several Euro matches live in the stadium, particularly Portugal's. Unfortunately, Portugal was eliminated in the quarter-finals against France. His cameraman later revealed that UEFA had asked him not to stream the final due to safety reasons.
Aside from the aforementioned countries, he has visited Poland, Sweden, Albania, Switzerland, Slovenia, Turkey, and Italy, among others. He is expected to fly back to the US soon.
