Twitch has banned Flightreacts for the first time in his career. The popular content creator is known for his reaction videos on YouTube and streams on the Amazon-owned platform since 2019 under the channel Flight23White where he has over 2 million followers. The news of his suspension was first reported by the StreamerBans bot on X.

The StreamerBans bot, which tracks the suspension status for all Twitch partners, notes that Flightreacts has never been banned before.

Naturally, fans have been wondering why he was suspended. Trying to access his channel gives the following prompt:

"Content from this channel has been removed at the request of the copyright holder."

This indicates Flightreacts's channel was temporarily removed because of a copyright strike. That said, readers should note that Twitch does not explicitly reveal the nature of bans and the streamer has not divulged any details either. However, the prompt above is usually associated with channels that incur a DMCA takedown after streaming content that infringes on someone else's copyright.

Flightreacts reveals Twitch banned him for 48 hours with fans claiming it was a result of his streaming Olympic highlights

While Flightreacts has not revealed the reason for being banned, he did put up a story on his official Instagram which briefly mentioned the duration of the ban. @flight23white_ posted a story around the time his channel was struck, revealing Twitch had suspended him for two days and that he would be back on Sunday, August 11:

While the small update is surely welcome news for fans wondering when they can expect the Twitch streamer to return, many have also been speculating about the reason for the ban in the first place.

Social media is abuzz about Flightreacts' suspension from Twitch, with many claiming that the reason for a copyright strike was because of his streaming 2024 Paris Olympic highlights.

Viewers have also noted that Flightreacts was in the process of streaming the highlights for the Olympic Basketball semi-finals between the USA and Serbia.

"He got banned mid reaction to the USA v Serbia highlights on YouTube", claimed X user @FearedBuck

In related news, Twitch star Kai Cenat has previously stated that he would be streaming from the 2024 Paris Olympics and considering his passion for basketball, might be making an appearance in the finals.
