Twitch and Kick star Felix "xQc" has commented on a viral incident involving Elon Musk at Donald Trump's inauguration event. For those who missed it, during the celebrations, Musk was asked to come up on the stage. At one point, he made a hand gesture that has been controversially compared to the Sieg Heil (Nazi Salute) salute. However, many believe the moment was taken out of context.

xQc made a detailed review of the moment in his livestream on January 21, 2025. He said:

"They cut it (the clip) off though. Wait, hang on. Why did they cut off the part where he says, 'My heart goes something'? (Musk's exact words were, 'My heart goes out to you.') It shows that you are being disingenuous if you are purposely cutting off the two words before the clip that kinda gives it more context.
"If you see bad things everywhere, you're more likely to be bad and cause bad than the people you are chasing down."

The streamer concluded that the gesture was more likely unintentional and attributed it to Musk being "80% inept" in public settings:

"On a scale of 100, I will give 80% to him being inept in public and autism and 20% to malicious intent. But if that had to fall into one direction, I personally don't think it's fully intentional. That's just my thinking. It's what I think."

HasanAbi reacts to Elon Musk's alleged Nazi salute

xQc isn’t the only streamer who responded to the controversial moment from Donald Trump’s inauguration celebrations.

Political commentator and Twitch star Hasan “HasanAbi” was also live-reacting to the event. Seeing Elon Musk’s hand gesture, the streamer said:

"Did he just Seig Heil? What?"

Musk supporters, however, have defended the tech billionaire, stating that his hand gesture was a "Roman salute." HasanAbi sarcastically recycled this same theory on his X, stating:

"Did Elon Musk just hit the Roman salute at his inauguration speech?"

Elon Musk was recently involved in a back-and-forth with Twitch streamer and OTK member Zack "Asmongold." Musk faced accusations from Asmongold and other creators of faking his Path of Exile 2 account. According to them, Musk either purchased someone else's account or had someone else play on his behalf.
