Twitch and Kick streamer Felix "xQc" has shared his thoughts on Richard "FaZe Banks" promoting a crypto meme coin. For those unaware, on January 7, 2025, the FaZe Clan CEO posted an update on his official X Community, BANK$ INTERN$, encouraging his fans to purchase the meme coin MLG.

Claiming that investing in the token would give people a "better chance to acquire generational wealth," FaZe Banks wrote:

"Whether it's this or just simply buying BTC, get yourselves involved in Crypto this year. You won't ever have a better chance in your lifetime to acquire generational wealth. Please, stop procrastinating and just get yourselves involved one way or another."

During a Twitch broadcast on the same day, xQc reacted to FaZe Banks' post. Giving his "honest" thoughts on those promoting cryptocurrencies, the former Overwatch pro remarked:

"Okay. Crypto, cool! I've got to be honest with you... listen, when it comes to most crypto, aren't you just making other people's money? Like, isn't it just like a circle j*rk? Is it not? It is not creating anything. It's not... nothing is being made or nothing is involved. Isn't it just a f**king scam and people get a part of the scam? People get scammed. It's a c*m-swap!"

xQc then used an analogy to explain how he feels about those who encourage others to buy cryptocurrency:

"So, telling people to buy crypto is like telling people to go put their juice in because you know you'll do better than them and then yoink (slang for stealing) their money. To increase the amount of juice in the pool, then you get more in your pocket."

What did xQc say about Haliey Welch, aka Hawk Tuah girl's alleged crypto meme coin scam?

In December 2024, internet sensation Haliey Welch, also known as the "Hawk Tuah girl," made headlines for controversial reasons after being accused of carrying out a pump-and-dump scheme by launching a cryptocurrency meme coin.

Several well-known streamers, including xQc, commented on the debacle. While describing Welch's cryptocurrency project as a "fraud," the 29-year-old stated:

"Chat, meme coin is, 'It's a joke for me, it's a loss for you,' is what it means. It's a meme coin because the creators find it funny because they're the ones that gain off it, right? But for everybody else, it's just a f**king... it's just a fraud."

In other news, xQc recently claimed that WNBA players do not "deserve success," and that they have been in the "shadows for a decade."
