Kick streamer Felix "xQc" has incorporated gambling as a bigger part of his live streams over the years, with videos of him playing slots on the online casino Stake.com still available on YouTube, dating back to April 2021. For over three years, the streamer has consistently been gambling on Stake, and this practice was reinforced when he joined the streaming platform Kick.
Stake.com has a majority ownership in Kick and has sponsored many celebrities, sports teams, and streamers such as Adin Ross or Vitaly. Kick now has a separate section for gambling-related streams called Slots and Casino.
Recently, xQc opened up about fellow Kick streamer Louis "LosPollosTV", who also streams Slots and Casinos on the platform. He claimed that Louis has been "faking" his gambling streams by altering his seeds. For context, seeds refer to a number or set of numbers used in cryptographic algorithms to ensure the fairness and randomness of games.
“LosPollos' seed is altered and he doesn’t get all the payout from his actual wins… I'm crashing out I’m saying it, Los Pollos is actual bogus on that game, that's insane… Absolute fu**ing scum lord”
xQc, who frequently gambles on Kick, mentioned that he has had very a different experience gambling on Stake as compared to LosPollosTV, specifically with the Plinko game, where players drop a ball down a pyramid of pegs, aiming for it to land in higher multiplier slots at the bottom for larger winnings.
"I get a [hundred times multiplier] ball once in a bazillion balls, [LosPollosTV] gets a fu**ing 1000 every fu**ing Sunday, like come on bro."
Slots and Casino is a popular section on Kick, with an average viewer base of over 40,000 viewers. This is unlike Twitch, where gambling was banned in 2022. xQc received backlash for promoting gambling while he was actively streaming on the platform.
LosPollos, on the other hand, has been gambling and playing video games on Kick for over a year now and currently has over 140,000 followers on the platform.
"He's definitely joking" - LosPollosTV responds to allegations of faking his streams from xQc
On hearing the claims charged against him in the X post above, LosPollos responded by saying xQc must be joking. He also provided proof showing that he had received full payouts from his gambling.
The screenshot displays three confirmed payouts ranging from 200,000 to over 9 million dollars in a cryptocurrency called Tether (USDT).
Despite his success, LosPollosTV has faced several controversies. In May 2020, he was temporarily banned from Twitch for watching an inappropriate movie scene on stream. Additionally, he has been accused of various unethical behaviors, including scamming his supporters and not fulfilling promises made during streams.
The streamer has also had issues with other internet personalities, like with Kick streamer Rangesh "N3on", when he challenged LosPollos to a fight.
