A clip showing Twitch and Kick streamer Felix "xQc" criticizing the WNBA and its players has garnered some attention online after it was posted on his official YouTube channel on January 5, 2025. As a Just Chatting streamer, Felix is known for putting out his opinion about various things online, be it pop culture, hip hop, or sports.
While playing Marvel Rivals on stream, xQc started going off at the WNBA. He even went to claim that the "girls" who play in the women's basketball league do not deserve "success":
"I don't care about WNBA. The WNBA can suck my ba**s, I don't give a f**k. And you know what? I am going to say it. None of these girls deserve success, low-key."
xQc claims WNBA has been in the "shadows for a decade" in a rant against the women's basketball league
xQc is perhaps one of the most popular Canadian live streamers who also recently made headlines for his association with Drake. While the two have collaborated before and have partnerships with Kick, things heated up when Drake made some "ugly" remarks about Felix's girlfriend Aikobliss.
Regardless, xQc is quite popular online and his clips about various discussions go viral all the time. On January 5, 2024, the streamer started criticizing the WNBA and said that players in the league do not deserve success. He called the WNBA "dogsh*t," claiming that it has been in the shadows for decades.
Without naming the player, the live streamer also insinuated that a recent star WNBA player, who had mainstream appeal, was seemingly shut down by the league:
"Their struggling dogsh*t league is in the shadows for a decade or whatever the f**k. And then one player comes along and actually hits mainstream and they do whatever they can do to shut it down."
According to the streamer, sidelining the unnamed player caused harm to the WNBA's reputation:
"Okay then, slide back to the caves then. Goodbye. Peace out then. Never to be seen on any timelines. It's not on my timeline, it's not on my YouTube anymore, it's nowhere to be seen. Why? Because they are braindead."
While xQc did not name the player, he has made similar comments while talking about the supposed hate Caitlin Clark has received from fellow players.
