Twitch and Kick streamer Felix "xQc" has made his opinions clear on certain aspects of the online community. During a recent Mario Kart 8 livestream, the content creator spoke out about a situation that had apparently made him furious. xQc talked about the "double standards" prevalent in the livestreaming community, elaborating:

"It's double standards. Guys, double standards, they suck! Guys, they make me angry. Out of all things out there, chat, it makes me mald (streaming slang that amalgamates the words, 'mad' and 'bald'). The way people treat one person to the other, right, I think it's odd."

The former Overwatch pro then used the example of Imane "Pokimane's" years-old controversy, in which she was called out for using the N-word. He compared the situation to Twitch star Kai Cenat's friend, Ray, who, according to xQc, used the same racial slur but received no backlash for his actions:

"People calling out Poki for saying it in that one clip way back in the days, even though she's Moroccan, or whatever. And then, people defending and boasting about that, 'Oh, it's fine when Kai's friend, Ray, said it.'"

After seeing what his live viewers had to say about his opinions, the French-Canadian personality remarked:

"See? The dissonance in the chat. Nobody's giving the point validity! Everybody's trying to find cope and ignore, and everyone's trying to find a way out of the argument to win the argument. But, I mean, it's double standard! It's a double standard! It is an objective double standard! It's just what it is! I don't have to tell you."

The streamer then challenged his viewers to explain why they disagreed with his take on the matter:

"Tell me I'm wrong with a question mark and say my takes are bad. All right, chat, I'm ready for it."

"We're not even consistent with how we enforce it" - AMP Agent 00's comments on Ray's controversy explored as xQc calls out "double standards" in the livestreaming community

On October 4, 2024, Twitch streamer Din "Agent 00" also commented on the controversy surrounding Ray's use of the N-word. In response to those who "got mad" at the Taiwanese native for his choice of words, the AMP member stated:

"I saw a lot of people get mad at Ray for saying that. I didn't take Ray saying he wants to say, 'N***a.' I took it as Ray saying, 'N***a is one of those words that's immediately cancelable if you're not Black.' You feel me? But we're not even consistent with how we enforce it. You feel me? Sometimes, people let Mexicans say the word. Or Puerto Ricans say the word."

In other news, xQc went viral on November 5, 2024, when he lost $700,000 live on stream after betting on Kamala Harris winning the 2024 US Presidental Elections
