xQc insinuates Fanum's content only involves eating food in response to his criticism of Kick streamers

Felix "xQc" has criticized Twitch streamer Roberto "Fanum" in his recent stream dated December 29, 2024, insinuating that AMP member's content only involves eating food. For context, Felix's comments come after Roberto made some remarks on December 28 about Kick streamers not elevating their content despite getting paid very well by the streaming platform.

On his stream, Fanum had stated that not many of the Kick streamers, other than the likes of Adin Ross, had increased producing better content after getting the "bag" from the relatively new website. The Twitch streamer said:

"Ni**as definite got their bag over there, but who from the Kick community got the bag, went over there and elevated their content? Like, 'I took this money that Kick gave me and I elevated my content with it and I really became something.'"

Fanum even commented that certain streamers just went to Kick for the "bread" but did not do much with the increased payouts and "finessed" the platform:

"I feel like everybody kind of got their bread, finessed Kick and sh*t, low-key. I feel like Adin definitely did a couple of things, but he was on and off and I don't blame him because he was going to through some sh*t behind the scenes."

xQc, who has been part of Kick for over a year at this point and has publicly defended the streaming platform before, did not like it. After watching the take about Kick streamers supposedly not elevating their content, xQc made fun of Fanum and how he eats on stream.

Noting that he might be criticized for his comments, xQc stated:

"If I respond to that, I am going to be the guy that's throwing shade and throwing out insults or whatever. If I reply I am the devil, I am the wrong guy, I am weird as f**k, right? With that said, what does Fanum do in his elevated content other than eat food? And when does he elevate out of his chair? Does anybody have a comment on that?"

Fanum responds to xQc calling him out for saying Kick streamers didn't elevate their content to justify their higher payouts

After xQc reacted to Fanum, the latter came across the clip and had something to say about it as well. Initially, he made a joke about having elevated himself by going from Postmates to Uber Eats and then claimed that the reason xQc was criticizing his content was because he had said nothing wrong.

On his December 29 stream on Twitch, Fanum stated:

"First of all, I went from Postmates and DoorDash to Uber Eats. Ni**a's definitely elevated, glaze me. Look, what I said still stands. You can't just make it seem like, 'Oh let me see what the f**k Fanum...' No, no, ni**a. Last up, what I said still stands. If what I said was cap, call cap on it. You've gotta do this because you can't call cap on it. It's cool though."

Fanum further noted how xQc shouldn't be asking him to elevate his content as he did not sign a deal with Kick and said:

"You understand? You can't just use me as an example, because I didn't get the bag to get over there. You know what I am saying? I am not even mad at the ni**a who got the bag to go over there. I think you own pieces of the sh*t too, so lowkey, ni**as ran off for from you with your bag."
