Twitch and Kick streamer Felix "xQc" has responded to the recent backlash he received from netizens. During a livestream on December 23, 2024, the content creator reacted to viral posts on X. At one point, his attention was drawn to the social media platform's Explore tab, where he found posts discussing his "maid dilemma."
The former Overwatch pro then saw a viral X post that showed his rather messy streaming room, while quoting him as saying he "can't afford the maids":
"This is no good, chat. That s**t is disgusting, low-key. It's because I can't afford the maids right now."
In response, several netizens expressed discontent with xQc for relying on maids to clean his room. Here's what some X users wrote:
"'Can't afford the maids,' n***a, if you don't clean that s**t up."
"'I can't afford the maids right now' - a grown a** man who don't know how to clean."
"'Can't afford a maid,' bro, you is a grown a** man, do it yourself, wtf...'"
"'I can't afford the maids right now,' brother, I can't afford maids either, but my desk isn't disgusting."
"What a lazy piece of s**t. He really has to rely on his maids to clean up after him? A**hole."
xQc responded to these criticisms by suggesting that people "stop letting garbage people pick up their garbage." He elaborated:
"If that's what you actually think, then honestly, stop letting the garbage people pick up your garbage on the side of the road, low key. Pick up your garbage, go to the local landfill, put the garbage there, go to the local recycling center, and start filtering the items. Okay? Bottles, paper, cardboard, because you're going let the garbage people do it for you? Really?"
The Twitch streamer, who seemed to be in disbelief about the criticism, added:
"You're really going to let the garbage people do it for you? Is that what we're doing these days? You're going to let some grown a** men do the stuff for you? Yikes! I cannot belive this is actually happening right now."
When xQc defended not disposing of leftover food after PewDiePie reacted to his messy room
In August 2022, xQc made headlines after YouTube sensation Felix "PewDiePie" reacted to his messy room. In response to the Swedish internet personality's comments, the Twitch streamer defended not disposing of leftover food by saying:
"Nobody can relate to this probably, but Dave's chicken, when it goes kind of bad over a couple of days, like, five days or whatever, it actually smells kind of good. Like, Dave's chicken with the fries and the pickles or whatever, right? When they go bad, it smells decent."
In other news, xQc recently got involved in a heated feud with Kai Cenat. Readers can check out this Sportskeeda article to learn more about the beef between the streamers.
