In a recent question and answer session on Kick, xQc (real name Felix Lengyel) revealed that a judge dismissed his lawsuit against his ex-partner Adept regarding the handling of his McLaren 720S Spider. For context, the Kick streamer has accused Adept of letting the car get sold in violation of a court order that froze all of the assets as they legally separated.
With many wondering what happened to his McLaren that was supposedly sold without his knowledge, an audience member asked him about the fate of the lawsuit, to which, xQc said that the judge on the case had dismissed it entirely after it was drawn out over months:
"I don't remember what the legal wording is or whatever, but basically the judge was like, 'Full dismissal. I am done with this sh*t.' Like, the case was drawn for f**king months if not years, right?"
xQc further claimed that the lawsuit over the McLaren 720S Spider was "disastrous," insinuating that the judge just wanted to get it over with:
"The whole process was a piece of sh*t. That whole lawsuit was absolutely disastrous. The response that I am reading out of this is that the Judge was like, 'What in the f**k? Next.'"
Exploring the legal dispute between xQc and Adept over the McLaren
For those unaware, xQc and Adept have been going to court over their separation since 2022, and their legal dispute over assets included the McLaren 720S Spider with Adept reportedly contesting its ownership.
Earlier this year, xQc made claims that the supercar had somehow been sold by "someone" while it was frozen by a court order due to the ongoing lawsuit. He even confirmed that he was going to take additional legal action over the McLaren, back in March.
On his most recent Kick stream, before revealing how a judge had dismissed the case, xQc talked about the timeline leading up to the court's decision. The streamer claimed once again how the initial lawsuit froze the McLaren but how it was still sold illegally "under the radar":
"Because the lawsuit was freezing the car, they made a filing that would keep the car frozen even after the lawsuit so that we could deal with the car, right? So then we won the lawsuit and the car was still frozen legally. But the other party said 'F**k this sh*t!', I think allegedly. It was supposed to be frozen and the car was sold under the radar. It shouldn't be happening."
While the judge's decision to dismiss the case has been quite the setback for xQc, the streamer seemed determined to keep fighting. Later on in the stream, he would go on to state:
"I will get my justice in court. I will take the time it takes, be it months or years or multiple lawsuits or a bunch of new lawsuits I have to file. I will in the end, but even if I didn't it doesn't matter because everyday I win."
Judging from these words, it is clear that the legal dispute between xQc and Adept will not be resolved anytime soon and that the streamer couple will be fighting over the McLaren for some time.
