Twitch and Kick streamer Felix "xQc" has stated that Zack "Asmongold's" remarks about Palestine and Gaza were "not racist." During a livestream on October 17, 2024, xQc reacted to Asmongold's YouTube video, My Plans Moving Forward. In the video, the 34-year-old announced he would be stepping away from his role at OTK (One True King) and apologized for his comments about Palestine and Gaza.
Earlier, Asmongold's alternate Twitch channel, Zackrawrr, was banned on October 15, 2024, after a minute-long video in which he referred to those living in Gaza as having an "inferior culture that is horrible" surfaced on social media.
After watching the Texan address the debacle in the YouTube video, xQc decided to "crash out" by saying that the streamer's remarks about Palestinians were "not racist."
Claiming that Asmongold's statements were "culturally insensitive and stupid," the former Overwatch pro remarked:
"Okay. I'm crashing out. Okay, here it comes. Everybody called them racist, right? On Twitter and s**t like that. Right? What he said was culturally insensitive and stupid, right? What he said was incorrect and dumb. Okay? And it hurts a lot of people. Right? But it's not racist."
xQc claims "known racists" on social media accused Asmongold of racism during the recent controversy
xQc continued his tirade, claiming that those who accused Asmongold of racism during the recent controversy were "known racists" on social media.
The French-Canadian personality name-dropped Twitch streamer Morgan "Frogan" and said:
"All the people that did call him out, though, on Twitter are known racists, though. A lot of them who were calling his a** out are the people that use the C-word for White people. And say, 'F**k White people,' are a bunch of times like that Frogan person, who never gets banned for going against White people all the f**king time! That's actually, legit, racism!"

xQc added:
"You don't get banned for racism. You don't! And you're going to call out somebody for something that's not a race? You're insane! Big!"
In other news, One True King responded to Asmongold's "disgusting and abhorrent" remarks by denouncing "all forms of discrimination and violence". The organization also claimed that their co-founder expressed a desire to "change his life and broaden his perspective" in response to the recent controversy.
