Twitch and Kick streamer Felix "xQc" has commented on the viral situation involving Imane "Pokimane" and FaZe Kaysan. For those unaware, during a Twitch broadcast on December 2, 2024, Pokimane revealed her X DMs, which showed that FaZe Kaysan had reached out to her and asked her out to dinner.
Here's what FaZe Kaysan and Pokimane wrote to each other in the private messages, as shown by the viral screenshot posted on the Elon Musk-owned social media platform:
"Pokimane: We good? FaZe Kaysan: We are more than good, apologies for misjudging you in the past, you're super cool. I owe you a dinner. Pokimane's unsent message: That's so nice, we can hit a nice Middle Eastern joint with the FaZe boys sometime! My treat, though. FaZe Kaysan: No, no, not the FaZe boys, just us. How else can we become friends?"
During a livestream on the same day, xQc discovered X user @FearedBuck's post. After reading the FaZe Clan member's messages to the Moroccan-Canadian personality, xQc stated that the former was "straight-up harassing" the latter:
"What?! Okay, that's harassment. I don't give a f**k. Guys, I'm not being a white knight, chat. I'm not being a white knight. That's harassment, straight-up! That's weird. Weird."
Upon seeing how his live audience reacted to his comments, the former Overwatch pro remarked that he was "joking":
"Okay, that was a joke, just making sure. It's not a funny topic, but still. Guys, that was a joke! Holy s**t! Yo, lighten up! Lighten up! Jesus!"
FaZe Plaqueboymax left in stitches after seeing FaZe Kaysan "double down" in the DMs that Pokimane recently revealed
In addition to xQc, Maxwell "FaZe Plaqueboymax" also reacted to FaZe Kaysan's messages to Pokimane. While stating that he "respected" FaZe Kaysan for connecting with the OfflineTV (OTV) co-founder, Plaqueboymax burst out laughing when he saw the 30-year-old "double down":
"Listen, he's shooting. You know? And, I respect that a lot. But then, he doubled down! He doubled down with the, 'No, no, not the FaZe boys, just us. How else can we become friends?' Oh s**t! Yo, bro, I'm telling y'all something - this s**t made my morning. This really made my day, bro. Because I know I am, so seeing s**t like this, it made me think, 'Wow! Kaysan, you are one interesting human being.'"
FaZe Kaysan responded to his viral interaction with Pokimane by stating that people "should never be afraid to shoot their shot."
