Popular Kick streamer Adin Ross has reacted to an upcoming Playboi Carti album titled MUSIC that is scheduled to be released sometime in 2025. The website announced that it will be available "near the release date" and "no later than six months from April 18, 2025." The streamer, however, wasn't quite impressed after seeing that he may have to wait a year for the album to drop.
Adin, for those unaware, has had a history with Carti over their controversial collaboration back in February 2024. The streamer reacted to the new album announcement and jokingly suggested that he has access to it (the unreleased songs) and might leak it.
"April 2025! What! He's playing with everyone, bro! Nah, dude, come on, bro. Sh*t, I got it, y'all want me to leak it? I'm kidding. It was a joke. Bro, he's gotta be trolling bro. He said it would be no later than six months from April 2025. Do you know what that means?"
Adin Ross reacts to Playboi Carti voting in a fan poll over whether the rapper should refund the streamer
Adin Ross and Playboi Carti share a long and somewhat dramatic history. For those unfamiliar, back in February 2024, Carti was invited to Adin's stream and was paid a substantial amount (undisclosed). However, in a controversial move, he left the stream after only a few minutes.
This naturally irked the streamer and his fanbase, leading many to call on Carti to pay Adin back. Today, a popular pop culture page, Rap, posted a poll asking whether people think the rapper should refund Adin. Interestingly, Carti himself voted on the poll.
Reacting to this activity, the Kick streamer said:
"I'll follow him quickly and see if it's actually true. (Check's Rap's Instagram page) He did. I'm done. He actually voted on it. I'm texting him, bro. I don't care, I'm texting him. I sent him a picture of this, I don't care."
This isn’t the only instance of Playboi Carti taking a jab at Adin Ross. During a modified version of his song Type Sh*t, the rapper altered one of the lyrics, adding a line about how he "scammed" a billionaire, which the Kick streamer believed was aimed at him.
