"You can have access backstage": WWE star Triple H invites IShowSpeed to next week's Royal Rumble event

YouTube star Darren "IShowSpeed" has received a special invite from WWE wrestler Triple H to attend the Royal Rumble event on February 1, 2025. Triple H even claimed that the streamer would have backstage access and the opportunity to talk to other WWE superstars.

The pair conversed over a video call during IShowSpeed's Uruguay IRL broadcast. Right after he picked up Triple H's call and greeted him, the latter asked the streamer where he currently was streaming from and why. After IShowSpeed stated that he was in Uruguay for a tour, Triple H disclosed the details of his invitation to Royal Rumble, which will be taking place in Indianapolis:

"I'm out in San Antonio, Texas, getting ready for Saturday night's main event tonight, but I wanted to take a minute, I wanted to give you a call. I wanted to see if you'd want to come out to the Rumble next week... Next Saturday, Indianapolis, Royal Rumble, you'll have a blast."

When IShowSpeed asked if he could broadcast the event live, Triple H responded by saying that the streamer could even enjoy backstage access privileges:

"Oh yeah, you can stream. Look, you can have access backstage, you can come talk to all the superstars, you can stream with them..."

Continuing on his tour of the South Americas, IShowSpeed hosted a broadcast while touring the country of Uruguay. In the initial few minutes of his IRL broadcast, the 20-year-old streamer was still sitting inside his vehicle when he received the video call from WWE superstar Triple H.

During their conversation, Triple H not only extended an invitation to the upcoming Royal Rumble event but also stated that he would be giving the steamer special access to the event's Gorilla Position, the area behind the curtain where wrestlers often prepare before entering the wrestling ring. Triple H said:

"Hell, I'll even let you come to Gorilla position and sit with me and you can stream up there if you want."

Asking if WWE celebrity John Cena would also be there, IShowSpeed said:

"Even John Cena too?"

To which Triple H replied:

"If you can see him, you can stream him."

Visibly excited at the prospect of being able to meet John Cena and other big names affiliated with WWE, IShowSpeed immediately agreed to show up at the event, which will take place on the upcoming Saturday.
