Charleston White reveals he was hurt when people celebrated after rumors of his death began circulating last weekend. On Tuesday, October 22, 2024, the internet personality, during his appearance on Adin Ross' livestream, remarked:

"Can I tell you the truth? Me and my feelings were hurt when I saw how the motherf**king famous people celebrate in the reply, like I got killed."

For the uninitiated, on October 20, reports claimed that a man named Charleston White was shot in Chicago and needed medical attention. However, the 46-year-old quickly jumped on his Instagram Live to inform his followers he was alive and safe.

As clips of Ross and White's conversation went viral, internet users were quick to react. One criticized the 46-year-old, stating:

"You clowned Gillie for losing his son to street violence and you expect people to feel any sympathy for you????

"I never hurt nobody"- Charleston White about the internet celebrating his death hoax

During his conversation with Adin Ross, Charleston White explained:

"I'm saying, 'I never hurt nobody.' I ain't shot up the community. I ain't sold drugs. I made bad choices as a kid, and when I became a man, I ain't been in no trumps. Why they being celebrating for a n***a to die?"

In response, the banned Twitch streamer told White that it was "crazy" that people would support rappers who "are about drug usage and about killings." But won't offer the same support to White, who did more for the community than these rappers. Ross called the 46-year-old a "hero," stating:

"You're a hero. You're just misunderstood, bro. I know exactly what it's like to be misunderstood. You're misunderstood. You have a big heart, Charleston, and you do good things for good people. And, that's that."

Earlier this year, Charleston White was slammed for mocking the death of Gillie Da Kid‘s son, YNG Cheese. On March 25, White took to his Instagram stories to go on a rant against Gallie after the latter called him a "rat."

In a series of videos, Charleston began an hour-long attack against the Million Dollaz Worth of Game host. This included one where he played light of Gallie grieving his son along with co-host Wallo.

"That n***a shot your motherf**king son in the head, boy unalive. Pow! God damnit, Young Gillie been shot! I remember how you and Wallo was crying? You and Wallo was crying, ‘Oh, my son! My son got killed.’ You was crying."

Charleston White continued to add that he was a law-abiding citizen, suggesting that Cheese died because he wasn't.

YNG Cheese was fatally shot in the Olney neighborhood of Philadelphia in 2023. Gillie put up a video billboard in honor of his late son on his one-year death anniversary.

White has not publicly reacted to the backlash.
