TikTok celebrity, Malik Ambersely, popularly known as NPC Miles Morales, recently responded to hate comments against him. The said comments came after Malik stated that he would focus on his streaming career and retire his TikTok persona altogether. He talked about the matter while sitting alongside members of the 100Thieves gaming organization.
Malik said that many content creators who have held subathons after Kai Cenat's uber-popular Mafiathon 2 subathon have been on the receiving end of hate from users online. According to Malik, these content creators are being accused of copying Kai Cenat, stating:
"I've seen a lot of people do subathons after Kai and people were f**king hating, like, 'Why is everybody trying to copy Kai?'... Some of you guys, bro, just need some help. L haters. L haters in the chat."

Malik had gained popularity on TikTok due to his unique persona, in which he would act out the lines of Spider-man character Miles Morales in a characteristic non-player character (NPC) manner. This meant acting out lines in an exaggeratedly animated form, quite similar to how an in-game character would do.
Recently, Malik reprised his role during Kai Cenat's Mafiathon 2 subathon, which allowed the Twitch streamer to break the all-time subscription count of 700,000. Malik would often take the reigns of Cenat's subathon at night when Cenat was sleeping, taking on the role of NPC Miles Morales, at times.
Talking about the criticism he and other content creators have been receiving for hosting subathons after Cenat's, Malik said:
"It f**king pisses me off how dumb some people are. Like, Kai literally made twenty f**king motivational speeches from different people and even himself, telling people to f**king stream and to do different things... He's literally telling n****s to do this sh**."
Kai Cenat had praised him during his interview with well-known music industry figure, Nardwuar. He credited him for increasing subscriptions during Cenat's downtime, by being present to shout out new subscriptions and providing continuous entertainment to fans.
