Daniel "Keemstar" has decided to "fire" controversial internet personality Steven "Boogie2988" from his Lolcow Live podcast amid the alleged fake cancer diagnosis scandal. At the 47-minute mark of the broadcast earlier today (July 18, 2024), Keemstar claimed to have made a decision regarding the 49-year-old allegedly lying about his health.
While referring to the situation as "severe" yet "complex," Keemstar remarked:
"Boogie, I think you understand how severe this is, right? But it's a very complex thing. You're fired. You have to be fired. Like, you are fired. You are fired. You have to be kicked off this f**king show. This is crazy! This is so f**king bad!"
The Drama Alert host expressed sympathy for the YouTuber because he "understood how complex" the circumstances were:
"And I have sympathy for you. I actually do. And I actually know a lot of people don't. They want you dead. But I do because I understand how complex this is. I truly do."
Keemstar added:
"This is so f**king bad! I don't even have other words, than just, 'Bad, bad, bad, bad, bad!' And I know that you're not evil. I know you're... I don't even have a better word for this - you're re**rded! You're re**rded! You have to be f**king fired."
Boogie2988 responded:
"That's the word... that's the word I'd use. So..."
Keemstar says Boogie2988 "may still have cancer" while "firing" the YouTuber from his podcast
After announcing that he decided to "fire" Boogie2988 from the Lolcow Live podcast, Keemstar said the Abingdon, Virginia native "may still have cancer." He elaborated:
"There's so much grey here. This is not a black-and-white situation. I mean, s**t, he may still have f**king cancer! I mean, this is not black-and-white! It's not like you f**king ran and did, like, a f**king, 'I got cancer scam and ran a GoFundMe,' when you never had it. Like, it's not, like, you did something like that! We're not talking about f**king evil. All right? We're talking about a re**rd!"

Keemstar further stated that Boogie2988 should "have some type of pathway back" despite being fired:
"I feel like even though you are fired and you're going to be gone for a while, you should have some type of pathway back. You should have to go through f**king hell, to be honest! The Play Button, we'll sell that. We'll give it to charity. Reading these Super Chats is one."
During the same Lolcow Live podcast episode, Boogie2988 threatened to harm himself with a knife during a heated argument with Kick streamer Steven "Destiny."
