YouTuber accuses IShowSpeed of physical assault and encouraging racism

On August 14, 2024, YouTuber AlfreeMP4 leveled serious allegations against prominent internet personality Darren "IShowSpeed." In a video titled, This Video Will Make You Hate IShowSpeed, AlfreeMP4 accused the content creator of physical assault, encouraging racism, and sexism, among other things. Providing details about his claims, AlfreeMP4 said:

"On this episode of Busted, we're going to be exposing a well-known YouTuber - IShowSpeed, for being a narcissist that exploits his young and impressionable audience, a scammer, a sexist, who allegedly assaulted someone on video. And someone who's almost put his family's life in danger just for the sake of clout."

In the first segment of the video, AlfreeMP4 explained why he believed the 19-year-old streamer assaulted someone. He played a viral clip from the latter's visit to Denmark, which showed him being chased by a dog. According to AlfreeMP4, IShowSpeed allegedly slapped a man in this video.

He elaborated:

"The clip I'm about to show you, allegedly assaulting this person, was not taken from his stream, but rather from someone else's point of view. As on that very same day, he did his stream, and in that stream, he was being chased by this dog. The part that wasn't streamed to his audience, though, shows him allegedly slapping a man for no reason."

In the same clip where IShowSpeed was being chased by a dog, a woman was heard saying:

"Why did he just hit a random guy? He knocked the random guy's glasses off. That's kind of messed up."

AlfreeMP4 added that there was a "witness" to back up the claim that IShowSpeed allegedly assaulted someone:

"You can even see the man pick his glasses back up after they fell off the ground. So, not only do we have a video of this happening, we also have a witness to back up this claim. Kind of hard to argue against."

YouTuber AlfreeMP4 accuses IShowSpeed of encouraging racism

At the nine-minute mark of the video, AlfreeMP4 exhibited a series of short videos showing IShowSpeed's viewers making some questionable comments, some of which were racist. Commenting on this, AlfreeMP4 claimed that the YouTube streamer was encouraging racism:

"I feel like it'd be one thing if you, obviously, make some kind of racial jokes. But I feel like it's another thing where you present this to your millions of followers to laugh at you for. And then it's not just that, but then when you have the racist encounters in person, it's kind of hard for you to get angry at it."

AlfreeMP4 further stated that the Ohio native "feeds into stereotypes":

"If you branded yourself as a 'stereotypical Black,' who jokingly or not feeds into these stereotypes on camera, you're going to have a lot of people who feel comfortable putting you down for your race. And, in which, I don't think is a coincidence that out of all the Black content creators and streamers, you probably have gotten the most racially harassed out of all."
