A new controversy has emerged in the content creation community, as YouTuber Jimmy "Elvis The Alien" deactivated his social media after being confronted for allegedly supporting contentious cartoonist Shadman. For those unaware, Elvis The Alien is a well-known content creator, who is known for critiquing entertainment media. At the time of writing, the American personality had over 1.7 million subscribers and over 263 million video views.
On July 25, 2024, Elvis The Alien responded to X user @nicholasdeorio's tweet, when the latter shared a thread from the r/YouTubeDrama subreddit with a list of prominent content creators associated with Shadman.
Following some back and forth on the Elon Musk-owned social media platform, the YouTuber claimed that "every piece of artwork" he used created by Shadman "had already existed":
"That's false. Every piece of artwork I used of his had already existed."
Drama Alert and Lolcow Live podcast host Daniel "Keemstar" then confronted Elvis The Alien by writing:
"So let me get this straight, you used a known cartoon CP artist art for your thumbnails. The same artist that drew in real life children in a sexual manner. Then you defend his website to be up that shown the sexual art of real-life children?"
Following the interaction, Keemstar revealed that the YouTuber had blocked him on X, calling him a "coward." He remarked:
"This coward blocked me after I confronted him about his support for Shadman, the cartoon CP artist that drew my 8-year-old daughter in a sexual manner."
Later that day, Elvis The Alien shut down his official X account. The following message appears when trying to access it:
"This account doesn't exist. Try searching for another."
Keemstar recently claimed Ava Kris Tyson supported art from Shadman, as YouTuber Elvis The Alien deactivates his social media amid recent controversy
Elvis The Alien isn't the only prominent personality whom Keemstar has confronted. On July 23, 2024, the 42-year-old tweeted that Ava Kris Tyson supported Shadman, claiming it was a "known fact." While asserting that his claims weren't "misinformation," Keemstar said:
"Kris Tyson supported the Cartoon CP artist Shadman that drew my daughter at age 8 in a sexual manner. This is a known fact. Privately me and Kris Tyson even had a conversation about this roughly a month ago. As it still upsets me. This is not misinformation. This is a fact."
As of this writing, Elvis The Alien has not commented on the recent situation.
