YouTube content creator Leslie "Fuslie" updated her fans about the events taking place in her life through a post in the community section of her YouTube channel. In it, she described the highlights and the "lowlights" of her one month off of content creation. For those unaware, the last uploaded content on her channel was a livestream held on August 8, 2024.

Since then, there has been no new activity on her YouTube channel. In her post, the 31-year-old streamer stated that she had also taken a break from social media and the internet as a whole for August 2024.

Apart from describing the time she spent with her family, Fuslie also revealed that she had been settling well into her new home. She described the positive changes the shift has made in her life:

"Being off social media and the internet was the best thing I could've done for myself during August. I just closed the internet for a bit and took time to reconnect with people in my life... I genuinely LOVE my new place. I love having my own space to clean and cook and play Zelda and hang out with my cats and look out at the view. I was a basement dweller for so long that I forgot how much I love the sun!"

Apart from sharing positive news and updates regarding her gaming adventures, interactions with her friends, and her cooking and baking endeavors, Fuslie described the not-so-pleasant parts of her hiatus within the community post.

She expressed not finding the motivation to play Valorant or any other shooter title and thus, had not done so throughout the month. Instead, her focus has been on Hearthstone and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

Furthermore, she said she had been dealing with mental health struggles, stating:

"I definitely have struggled mentally during this time as you might have guessed. After seeing so many opinions that people had/have about me, I couldn't help but feel like my presence was just a burden to everyone online and offline and my first thought was to just leave the internet and Los Angeles and never come back."

Fuslie concluded the post by disclosing that she will return to streaming in "around a week," but did not provide a specific date. Her comeback stream will likely involve her "catching up" with her viewers and showcasing her cooking skills in her kitchen.

Fuslie's break from streaming comes soon after a controversy erupted in August 2024 involving her and popular streamer Noah "NoahJ456". Allegations were made against the two for cheating on their partners with each other.
