Tech YouTuber Zack "JerryRigEverything" Nelson, who has a subscriber base of over 9 million, shared his reaction to a rather viral incident involving Elon Musk. For context, during Musk's speech at Donald Trump's inauguration event, the Tech billionaire ended up making a rather questionable hand gesture, which many have perceived to be resembling the controversial Sieg Heil (Nazi Salute) salute.
On January 21, 2025, JerryRigEverything shared a clip from Hasan "HasanAbi's" Twitch stream, which captured the controversial moment. Musk hasn't clarified exactly what the gesture meant. Nonetheless, JerryRigEverything considered it offensive and declared that he would get rid of all four of his Tesla cars (the company, of course, owned by Musk). He wrote:
"I currently own 4 different @Tesla vehicles. By the end of 2025, I will own zero @Tesla vehicles."
JerryRigEverything's strong reaction also sparked a lot of comments online. Here are some of the relevant ones:
"He was clearly not doing that. If you watch the actual footage and listen to what he’s saying," said @BigThunderMan
"I currently own 1 and will own 4 by the end of 2025 to offset it," said @gallaher_don
"He's an odd fella, and I won't take it up for him too much. But I don't think this is what he meant to do," said @Chching_
"Sounds like a good YouTube video, let's see how durable those Teslas are," said @clutzyclunk
Not the only viral moment involving Elon Musk today
Elon Musk has recently become a trending figure in the gaming and streaming community. During a stream, Twitch streamer Quintin "Quin69" discovered something quite amusing: while Elon Musk was attending the presidential inauguration event, his Path of Exile 2 account was also online. Quin69 reacted:
"Elon, how are you there? Wait, how are you in the Sulphuric Caverns right now, Elon? Nah, seriously Elon, how? Bro, stop. You're on the map right now, level 96. I can see you there."
For those unfamiliar, Quin69 was one of the creators who accused Elon Musk of faking his Path of Exile 2 level. Musk faced allegations of either purchasing someone else's account or having someone play on his behalf.
Elon Musk, however, has denied these allegations, stating that he has been live on various YouTube and Twitch streams, providing evidence that he is the one playing the games.
