This announcement comes after the pair lost an unborn girl child last year due to complications during Marie's previous pregnancy. Despite having nearly 10 million subscribers on YouTube and getting signed to the streaming platform, Rumble, RiceGum revealed in March 2024 that he was not going to pursue streaming further. He explained that the reason behind his not continuing to broadcast was that it did not allow him to "do anything else".
