Internet personalities Alissa Violet and Tana Mongeau have been embroiled in a feud with each other since July, with the two falling out over a TikTok video posted by Mongeau on July 7, 2024, along with other allegations made against Violet directly.

Now, in August, the drama has progressed further, with Violet recently posting a YouTube video giving a comprehensive response to the entire fiasco, along with her rebuttal to the statements made by Mongeau on her podcast Cancelled with Tana Mongeau & Brooke Schofield. This article covers the origin of the feud between the two, its progression over the past few months, and the recent video made by Alissa Violet.

The feud between Alissa Violet and Tana Mongeau originated from the latter's TikTok video referencing Violet's friend and content creator, Jason Nash. Nash is known for being a part of David Dobrik's group of friends, The Vlog Squad, who would often make an appearance in his videos.

Nash also formerly dated Mongeau's close friend Trisha Paytas, who would sometimes appear in Dobrik's videos as well. The relationship between Nash and Paytas did not end on a good note, as she came out with revelations and accusations involving the entire Vlog Squad in the months after.

Eventually, in 2024, Nash came under fire for asking online users to "gift" him money on TikTok Live. Subsequently, in Mongeau's TikTok from July 2024, she can be heard referencing Nash and stating:

"At least I'm not Jason Nash."

Following this, Alissa Violet came to Nash's defense, asking Mongeau to not "bully" Nash for attempting to "make money". In her YouTube video titled my response, uploaded on August 19, 2024, she stated:

"I decided to respond to her TikTok with my own, saying, hey, let's not bully someone for trying to make money, you know? Not everyone can take a nude photograph on OnlyF**s and make a million dollars like you, Tana. And that was misconstrued as being shady and contradicting. I meant no shade with that."

Among others, Alissa Violet also addressed accusations made by Tana Mongeau of the former inquiring on how to start an OF account, implying "hypocrisy" on Violet's part. Alissa showcased screenshots of her conversations with Mongeau over the years, in which she denied any invitations to join the website.

She also addressed Mongeau's previous alleged indiscretions with her former partners, including FaZe "Richard" Banks and Jake Paul:

"Tana, I didn't realize that you had such a problem with me. We've always been cordial, and I've never said anything bad about you to this day. I could have said something when you hooked up with my ex, when you tried to continue to hook up with my ex after we broke up, when you married my other ex on camera after I came out about my abuse with him."

FaZe "Richard" Banks has also since responded to this video, where he stated that Violet made "valid points" and that she and him had been "in a great place" for years. He also commended her for "taking accountability" and giving a "valid response".

To those unaware, FaZe Banks is the current CEO of the FaZe clan. The clan was acquired by gaming analytics and esports brand company GameSquare in 2024. Subsequently, in April, Banks engaged in a "reboot" of the organization, laying off a substantial chunk of content creators who were under the FaZe roster.
