The entire FaZe Lacy and Darla Claire controversy explained

Twitch streamer Nick "FaZe Lacy" is currently embroiled in a drama involving his supposed girlfriend Darla Claire. The controversy began when Lacy's cameraman made some surprising statements, alleging that despite Darla being in a relationship with Lacy, she has been living with her ex-boyfriend Bryce Parker for the past four months or so.

The cameraman, who was visibly in tears, further claimed that Darla was in some sort of contractual agreement to "use" the Twitch streamer. Here's what he said (July 12):

"She (Darla) made me lie about everything. She made me lie about the house. She made me lie that she was living in my house while she was living with Bryce."

He also said that he didn't know that Darla was dating Bryce:

"Apparently she was on this contract with someone to use Lacy that I didn't know about. She was dating Bryce the entire time for the last four months that I did not even know about."

Plaqueboymax and other FaZe members press Lacy's cameraman over recent drama

It's worth noting that there was also the understanding that Darla was the cameraman's cousin. However, this theory was debunked by him as well in his revelatory stream.

Later, other FaZe members like Max "Plaqueboymax," Rani "Stable Ronaldo," and Jason "JasonTheWeen" pressed him to further explain the situation. All of this unfolded live on Lacy's stream. Max asked:

"Why do you care about her? She's not your cousin."

The cameraman replied:

"Just 'cause you like them doesn't mean you wanna f**k them."

Stable Ronaldo replied:

"You just said you were attracted to her."

The cameraman answered:

"Yeah, doesn't mean I would f**k her. (Max replied, 'So you didn't like her like that?') I thought she was good-looking. That was it."

Max also asked if the cameraman had any kind of NDA (non-disclosure agreement) with Darla or not. To this, he said:

"I don't know (2x). (Lacy adds, 'There definitely was.') I signed two contracts. Yeah (after one of the Faze members asked if he knew what he signed), but I don't think there was an (NDA). I didn't even look at it."

Lacy finds out that Darla's manager has dropped her

Lacy, while reacting to Cody "Clix's" stream, also learned another update about Darla. Apparently, Clix had received a message regarding Darla's management dropping her over the entire controversy. Clix read:

"(The manager) just texted me, he said Darla got her contracted termination. It is for our best that we terminate our management agreement...I will enact a sunset clause and collect the remainder of the contract as well."

A sunset clause in this context refers to the manager receiving a percentage of Darla's earnings despite the contract being immediately terminated.

Despite the controversy and allegations, Darla Claire hasn't responded yet. Her last post on X.com was on July 1, and she last streamed on July 7.
