2024 has been a sensational year for several streamers and content creators. The streaming community, in general, has seen substantial growth, with some grand events and big names popping off. Some of these personalities have also managed to find mainstream attention and fame.

This article will focus on the 10 best streamers throughout this year.

Note: This list will be mostly based on statistics. However, at the end of the day, who the top streamers are could be up to preference, as the topic is subjective.

10) CaseOh_

Case Dylan Baker, aka "CaeOh_," was already quite popular entering 2024 with over 1.2 million followers. Now, his following has grown exponentially, reaching a staggering 6.1 million. He is primarily a desktop streamer, best known for his comedic reactions and the memes created around him.

CaeOh_ has also made a mark with his consistency, averaging between 50K - 60K viewers throughout the year. With his popularity showing no signs of declining, he'll likely grow further in 2025.


9) Sketch

The penultimate name on this list is Kylie "Sketch." Known for his eccentric speaking style and gestures, he has gained immense popularity among the NFL community and athletes. Sketch only started streaming in July 2023. In 2024, he earned over 1.4 million subscribers.

Sketch had an eventful 2024, collaborating with major names throughout the year. In July 2024, he found himself at the center of a controversy involving leaked OF photos, later confirming that the pictures were indeed his.


8) Pirate Software

Jason Thor Hall, aka Pirate Software, has experienced an incredible rise to streaming stardom. In January 2024, he was barely known, with just over 200K followers. Today, he boasts more than 1.1 million followers. He has also been nominated for the Streamer of the Year award in the upcoming Streamer Awards 2024.

Jason's crowning moment in 2024 came when he broke his own Twitch Hype Train record, gifting 54,380 subs and 8,225,386 Bits, reaching Level 106 during a 15+ hour stream.


7) Ironmouse

Ironmouse was already a prominent name in the streaming world by the start of 2024. She is one of the most-followed VTubers on Twitch, with over 2.1 million followers. The only VTuber surpassing her in follower count is Nimu Spacecat, who boasts 2.4 million followers. Ironmouse grew from 1.8 million to 2.1 million followers on Twitch in 2024.

Ironmouse's biggest achievement came in October 2024, when she broke Kai Cenat's record for most subscribers, peaking at 326K. However, Cenat himself reclaimed the record in November 2024.

Speaking of rising popularity, Cinna is the next name on the list. She has experienced exponential growth in 2024, starting the year with just over 124K followers and now boasting more than 480K. Her remarkable journey has also earned her a nomination for the Breakout Streamer of the Year award at the 2024 Streamer Awards.

Cinna is widely praised for her charismatic on-screen personality and sharp comedic timing. She has been part of several popular collaborations, including streams with AMP's Din "Agent 00" and FaZe Clan member Jasontheween.

The next name on the list is another FaZe Clan member - Max "Plaqueboymax." Starting in 2024 with just over 590K followers, he now boasts over 1.3 million followers, making him one of the fastest-growing streamers on the platform. His remarkable consistency earned him a FaZe Clan contract in April 2024.

Like Jasontheween, Plaqueboymax also participated in the FaZe Subathon. He ended the event with a career-high of 77K subscribers, securing the second-highest count among all the creators involved.


4) Jasontheween

FaZe Clan member and Twitch streamer Jason "Jasontheween" has experienced an incredible rise in popularity in 2024. Starting the year with just over 205K followers, he now boasts more than 875K — a staggering increase of over 325%. Additionally, he had just over 2K average viewers at the start of the year, and he now averages over 13K.

Jasontheween's defining moment of 2024 was undoubtedly the September FaZe Subathon event, where FaZe creators competed in a month-long subathon battle. At one point, he secured over 102K subscribers — a career-high for the streamer.


3) Adin Ross

Despite Adin Ross' controversies, he remains a prominent figure within the streaming community. Although the Kick streamer experienced a less active 2024, marked by brief hiatuses, he still managed to create viral moments. Currently, he has 1.5 million followers, the second most-followed Kick streamer.

The highlight of Ross' 2024 was undoubtedly his stream with Donald Trump. The stream was a massive success, peaking at over 500K viewer.


2) Kai Cenat

The next streamer on the list is Twitch's Kai Cenat, who has dominated the Twitch scene over the past 3 years. He entered 2024 with 8 million followers to his name. Now, he is sitting with 15.2 million followers, an increment of over 7 million. He is also the website's most subscribed streamer, with over 670K subs.

Presently, he is conducting his second-ever subathon called Mafiathon 2. This event has featured some of the biggest names, such as Kevin Hart, Serena Williams, Snoop Dogg and more.


1) IShowSpeed

The first name is quite obvious — YouTube star Darren "IShowSpeed." Speed is arguably the most popular name among streamers. In 2024 alone, he has managed to garner over 11 million subscribers. Currently, he stands at over 33 million subscribers, making him among the most subscribed IRL and gaming YouTubers.

He has also had an exciting year, featuring some major IRL tours, such as one in Europe and Southeast Asia, and his ongoing Australia and New Zealand tour.
