Not many people might know, but the YouTuber also suffers from an "incurable" disease called Crohn's disease. This story will focus on what exactly is Crohn's disease and what did MrBeast have to say about this particular ailment.

YouTube star MrBeast is pretty open about his ailments. He has previously spoken about his health-related updates in interviews as well as on his social media platform. As mentioned earlier, the creator suffers from an "inflammatory bowel disease" (IBD) known as Crohn's disease.

According to the official Cleaveland Clinic (my.clevelandclinic.org), Crohn's Disease is defined as:
"A type of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) that causes your digestive tract to become swollen and irritated. If you have Crohn’s, you might experience symptoms like abdominal pain, diarrhea, weight loss and rectal bleeding. This is a lifelong condition that can’t be cured."
In a post back in September 2023, the YouTuber briefly spoke about having this disease. Jimmy revealed how he used to play baseball on an amateur level before quitting due to the illness. He said:
"I played baseball every day for almost a decade. Sometimes the middle school season and rec league season would overlap and I’d have two different practices in a day lol. But sadly when I got Crohn’s disease I lost all my muscle/50 pounds and ended up quitting (baseball) for YouTube."
He has also spoken about the disease on his YouTube channel. In a video titled What Is Crohn's Disease????? (August 10, 2015), MrBeast said:
"Pretty much every five weeks I go to the hospital, they jab me with a needle and I sit there for four hours and it pumps medicine into my bloodstream."
Does any other creator have Crohn's disease?
Interestingly, MrBeast isn’t the only creator who suffers from Crohn’s disease. YouTuber and Sidemen member Vikram "Vikkstar123" recently opened up about having this autoimmune condition. He said:
"So for people who don't know, I have an autoimmune condition called Crohn's, which is effectively where your immune system attacks the cells in your gut and kills them and causes all sorts of issues, illness."
