Minecraft creators Clay "Dream" and Thomas "TommyInnit" are currently embroiled in a bit of a drama. This all began on January 11, 2025, when Twitch streamers Felix "xQc" and TommyInnit appeared to exchange jabs online. xQc ended up describing him as someone who used to "d*ckride" Dream.

In response, Dream posted a meme on his X (now deleted post) labeling some DreamSMP Stans turned TommyInnit fans as "r*tarded." This opened the floodgates for further discussion and drama.

We focus on the timeline of events of this ongoing feud.

Minecraft YouTuber and Twitch streamer Dream received a lot of criticism from netizens following the use of the "R-word" in his meme responding to the drama between xQc and TommyInnit.

Later, he removed the meme, before explaining that he is autistic and for years he has been subjected to edgy jokes:

"Super annoying having certain creators sh*t on me and my friends constantly when we never say anything back. You shouldn't say the word (r*tarded) but I'm literally autistic and the whole internet loved everyone calling me slurs so obviously people are being disingenuous."

The Minecraft streamer also made a post (now deleted) on his official subreddit, r/DreamWasTaken2, explaining the meme and addressing the criticism. He said that some of these critics were "disingenuous."

"Multiple people go viral calling me the R-word and everyone explains that it's okay because they're neurodivergent, so then I see a meme that uses it and post it and get absolutely throttled for it. Obviously, it's the internet being disingenuous."

TommyInnit retweets Dream's post (January 11, 2025)

TommyInnit has also been quite active during this ongoing feud. The streamer noticed the subreddit post where Dream described him as having "no backbone."

"You can call me anything but do NOT call me poor."

Tubbo responds to Dream (January 12, 2025)

Amid the ongoing back-and-forth between TommyInnit and Dream, another Minecraft creator Tobias "Tubbo" weighed in on the situation. As a close friend and frequent collaborator with Tommy, Tubbo defended him and responded to Dream's criticism, where Dream had accused Tommy of lacking a backbone:

"To say he has no backbone, just shows how you never f**king knew him as a person when you did know him... And if you did, it's a stupid attempt to change his image. But he literally idolized Dream and he idolized Wilbur (Wilbur Soot), and when he found out how these people were as actual people. He cut them off because he has integrity and because he has a backbone."

He also alleged that there were topics discussed in the Dream SMP Discord server, which Tubbo was a part of, that made him uncomfortable:

"I've had some gripes with certain inappropriate topic of conversation that happened in the Dream SMP Discord in like VCs and VC channels when I was younger, which at the time, made me quite uncomfortable but I was like, oh, this is just because I'm older now and I can be a part of these mature conversations. Now, I'm older and I look back at that... Rubs me the wrong way."

Dream goes live on Twitch (January 12, 2025)

Further discussions took place when Dream went live on his Twitch channel yesterday. For context, Dream has had a long-standing feud with TommyInnit, which dates back to March 2024, when he sent a DM to Tommy's mother criticizing her son.

The Minecraft streamer explained that he reached out to TommyInnit's mother because she was "actively tweeting at people."

"She is on Twitter, actively tweeting at people, and I privately reach out, saying, 'Hey, just so you know, you're saying stuff about this video that involves me and you're interacting with my fans. Here is my opinion.' I think that is, in my mind, is very reasonable."

He also responded to Tubbo, who accused him of creating content in the Dream SMP Discord server that made him uncomfortable. Dream stated that his comments were taken out of context but admitted that there were indeed p*rnographic images shared in the server:

"In like one of the Dream SMP chats or whatever, there was like a fan art p**n image shown. Now, obviously, that's not something that should be shown regardless to anybody... But to give context, because I think it is important to this situation, is it was a bunch of Dream SMP people in a call looking at the fact that fans were drawing crazy art like that and making fun of it and being like, oh my god, this is crazy, this is disgusting."

TommyInnit responds to Dream (January 12, 2025)

TommyInnit also responded to the drama by posting a five-minute-long video addressing Dream. In the video, he called the streamer out for using the "r-word," criticizing him for the language:

"Hello mate, let's just dive right in, shall we? Let's talk about you calling all my fans the r-slur. You can't throw around the r-slur mate you just can't!"

He added how using the slur flagrantly is a petty act:

"And you do not just throw it around. It's impossibly immature and reckless and sets such a sh**ty precedent to everyone. Shame on you man!"

Tubbo accuses Dream of "queer-baiting" (January 12)

Tubbo himself went live on Twitch shortly after Dream's stream. He alleged that the Minecraft streamer used to hide his sexuality for monetary gain:

"I think Dream has made a lot of money from keeping his sexuality ambiguous... and I think that's the only reason why he won't be like, 'I'm outright straight.' Again, that's a very uncharitable view. Very uncharitable!"

Tubbo labeled the situation as "queer baiting."

"I believe that real people can't queer-bait. I genuinely believe that. However, when there's money involved, and you can make a s**t ton of money off of the Pride Community, I think there is an incentive for you to act gay."

(Timestamp: 03:09:50)

Dream hasn't responded to either Tubbo's or TommyInnit's allegations and criticism yet. Since the controversy is still fresh, further updates are expected.
