YouTube streamer Darren "IShowSpeed" is set to make yet another notable appearance at the Gumball 3000. For those unaware of this event, The Gumball 3000 is a celebrity car rally that takes place on public roads. This was created by Maximillion Cooper, who is the founder and CEO of Gumball 3000.
The event typically involves rallying across various cities in the world. Last year (2023), the event took place in various cities across Europe, starting from Edinburgh, through London, Amsterdam, Venice, and Budapest and ending in the coastal resort of Porto Montenegro.
This year (2024), Gumball 3000 will be hosted in Asia (September 14-22), starting in Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon), through Phnom Penh, Angkor Wat, Bangkok, Krabi, and Kuala Lumpur and ending in Singapore (F1 Race Weekend). This year's event also marks the 25th anniversary since its inception.

This year's Gumball 3000 event seems to have attracted some big names from the content creation industry. The most notable among them is YouTube streamer IShowSpeed, who is scheduled for a tour across Asia in September 2024. He is reportedly set to drive his Lamborghini Huracan STO.
The YouTube streamer has been given the responsibility of kicking off the event by waving the start flag at midday on September 15 (Sunday), on Le Loi Boulevard in Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon).
IShowSpeed is not the only content creator or streamer who will be present. Other notable names include Australian YouTubers and streamers Lannan "Lazarbeam," Lachlan Power, and Sidemen member and YouTuber Vikram "Vikkstar123." All three of them will be in a Land Rover Defender.
In addition to content creators, several other celebrities will be participating. These include former Manchester United player Patrice Evra, who will be driving a Rolls Royce Cullinan, US rappers Ja Rule and Bun B. MLB Hall of Famer Ken Griffey Jr. and former NFL star Jimmy Graham are also among the notable names attending.
The Gumball 3000 is also a fundraising event. So far, it has raised a total of £58,000 out of their ultimate target of £500,000. The fundraising money will be donated to organizations such as Project Wreckness, Laureus Sport for Good, The Skatepark Project, Football Beyond Borders, and Fair Shot Cafe.
