Two Kick streamers named CrisTravels and CaptainGee are currently in Medellin, Colombia for a subathon. Yesterday (December 25, 2024), the two found themselves in a concerning situation. For context, while they were streaming IRL, the two encountered two women, seemingly sex workers, who informed them that they would charge 300K Colombian Pesos (or $68) for their time.
Things took a turn for the worst when they came back to their Airbnb. Allegedly, the two girls had drugged the streamers (this was seen in the stream). CaptainGee said,
"I think they drugged me, I'm drugged."
He repeated this to the camera later as well, stating:
"Chat I'm drunk and they drugged me."
Fortunately, the two Kick streamers are safe and sound. This was confirmed by their Airbnb host who arrived at their location with the police. X account Slattburgers.eth (@slattburgers) shared a screenshot of a conversation involving the Airbnb host. He mentioned that the two girls stole some equipment:
"We're already with the police and your friends. They are in good health which is the important thing. They are awake, a little confused, but they are fine. We are already with the police to catch the prostitutes, we are going to put their faces in every possible place."
What is the latest update on CrisTravels and CaptainGee?
Kick streamers CrisTravels and CaptainGee faced a harrowing experience last night after reportedly being drugged and robbed by two women, alleged to be sex workers. At present, there are no updates regarding the women's whereabouts.
Fortunately, the Kick streamers are safe and in good health. Both have already resumed their streaming activities. CrisTravels was live earlier today, seven hours ago (December 26, 2024), while CaptainGee streamed nine hours ago.
In his stream today, CrisTravels briefly addressed the incident, mocking the two women by pointing out that they robbed a live streamer, meaning their faces were broadcast live during the stream. He said:
"We told them that we were live streaming five days in a row...rob a YouTuber, rob a little guy on a phone but rob a live streamer? That's crazy."
The two streamers also mentioned having purchased new phones, which suggests that their stolen equipment likely included their phones. However, this detail has not been officially confirmed at this time.
