"Nuisance streamers” have taken the IRL streaming realm by storm. IRL streaming often involves unprecedented events, interesting interactions, and exciting displays of different locations around the world. However, this is not always the case, with an instigative form of streaming now picking up steam, perpetuated by what netizens have termed as "nuisance streamers".

Nuisance streamers are content creators who disrupt the peace in areas around the world, bothering citizens or using culturally insensitive and sometimes derogatory remarks in public spaces. As the label suggests, their behavior often causes a disturbance or "nuisance" to the general public, eventually leading to notoriety and subsequent internet fame for the streamer.

Those commonly labeled as "nuisance streamers" include Johnny Somali, known for his behavior in Japan that led to eventual deportation, and Kizzy, a 14-year-old content creator who recently came under fire for harassing people on stream.

It is important to point out that most nuisance streamers primarily stream on Kick, since it is the only platform with lax content policies, allowing content creators to broadcast freely with less risk of a suspension.

Exploring the various actions committed by "nuisance streamers" while live'

Unlike peer platforms such as YouTube or Twitch, which run on an ad-revenue-based business model, Kick is not restricted by appeasement to advertisers. Instead, it is backed up by Stake, an online gambling and betting website. The absence of such a restriction allows it to be more liberating in the content it allows on the platform.

Taking advantage of Kick's unique content policy, Ramsey "Johnny Somali" emerged on the scene around May and June of 2023, when the content creator was in Japan.

During his time there, Ramsey made headlines for his disruptive behavior, including the usage of culturally inappropriate remarks like "Hiroshima" and "Nagasaki" in public spaces such as subways. Eventually, he was deported from the country after trespassing on a construction site and harassing the workers.

However, Ramsey's behavior has not since improved, with his subsequent trip to Israel also showcasing him engaging in inflammatory behavior.

The streamer went to the Western Wall in Jerusalem, considered sacred by the Jewish community, and put up images of Adin Ross, Jeffrey Epstein, and Harvey Weinstein on the wall. This action even led him to get permanently suspended from Kick, despite the platform's relaxed moderation policy.

On the other hand, Kizzy is a teenage content creator on Kick, who recently came under fire from Charlie "penguinz0" and Zack "Asmongold" for going up to strangers on stream and tampering with their food. He also made threats to assault a woman, calling her a "nobody" in the process.

Johnny Somali was recently called out by Felix "PewDiePie" and fellow YouTuber CinnamonToastKen as part of their collaborative video on streamers "ruining" Japan, with a segment focusing solely on him.

Somali has since responded to the video, labeling PewDiePie a "racist" and calling his statements "defamatory". He even threatened to sue the YouTube veteran and called him an "anti-Semite."
