SunnyV2's take on the effects of Ava Kris Tyson's transition
SunnyV2 made a point of saying that Tyson's transition would potentially jeopardize the characteristics that made Kris famous in the first place. This point remains valid since the perception of the content creator has changed enormously since she first started making content on the MrBeast channel when considering the larger internet or YouTube landscape, especially due to the recent controversy.

The increased media coverage and public interest have led to higher engagement on some releases, but on the flip side, MrBeast videos were being disliked at high magnitudes.
MrBeast himself stated that drama is good for growth in an episode of the Impaulsive podcast in 2019. When Kris' transition was first made public, the added engagement did grow the MrBeast channel.

"Yes he was... because of MrBeast's inability to speak up to his friend. His own employees are exposing his fake personality. In short, Sunny was absolutely right about this."
On the other hand, Blueskysredbirds said it would be difficult for MrBeast to recover from this incident:
"Logic...His thesis was, 'Ava Kris Tyson will become a nightmare for Mr. Beast’s brand.' And, that’s true now more than ever lol. After the allegations [against] Kris, the dominos began to fall on the Mr. Beast brand. He’s unlikely to recover from this."
