Twitch streamers Nick "Nmplol" and Malena have been dating for a long time, having met each other back when Nmplol had just started creating content as a full-time streamer. The 33-year-old has since appeared countless times alongside his partner Malena on his Twitch channel, where he has over 1.1 million followers.

The pair met while she was working as a moderator for fellow Twitch streamer Chance "Sodapoppin." At the time, Nmplol also worked under Sodapoppin's editor.
The two came across each other in the Dreamhack event held in Sweden. At the time, Malena would smoke cigarettes and asked Nmplol to accompany her outside. He then went along with her despite him not being a smoker and got away from his own group.
The two started conversing and went out to a McDonald's restaurant with friends, where Nmplol witnessed her eating a Big Mac burger with just three bites. Talking to Fuslie about this incident during a broadcast, he said:
