YouTube content creator Darren "IShowSpeed" recently made headlines after sharing an Instagram post that went viral. The video posted by the popular streamer shows him leaping over his Lamborghini Huracan, which was being driven at a high speed towards him.
The supercar features a special livery based on Cristiano Ronaldo. The streamer bought it in March 2024, sharing the purchase on his Instagram account. Its red and green are an ode to the colors of the Portuguese national football jersey. The front features an image of the football star doing his signature celebratory move.
The Huracan is one of the last Lamborghini cars with a naturally aspirated engine. It is set to be replaced with a model featuring a hybrid engine, with its arrival expected in the coming year.

Darren "IShowSpeed" is known for his "anything for content" attitude, often utilizing his slapstick comedy style to push the limits of what he can do to entertain his audience. This is sometimes showcased during his IRL streams, such as riling up a pitbull by barking at it during his visit to Denmark and subsequently getting chased down the street by the animal.
The 19-year-old creator's antics seem to pay off as he recently hit 27 million YouTube subscribers following his extensive tour of Europe. The streamer explored quite a few countries, including Albania, Switzerland, Sweden, Germany, Denmark, and the Netherlands.
In his Instagram post shared on July 25, 2024, Speed could be seen making an impressive leap over the Huracan. It was being driven by his father, toward whom he expressed his affection after successfully executing the stunt.
With the video going viral on the platform and attracting over 7.1 million likes within a day, netizens have expressed their surprise at the creator's ability to seemingly effortlessly jump over the high-speed car. Many even were concerned, stating that the creator was treading into risky territory to make content.
On the other hand, speculations are being made online regarding the video's authenticity. Twitch streamer xQc feels the video wasn't real. The stunt was captured through multiple camera angles, with each showcasing the streamer doing the same jump, thus mitigating the chances of the jump being faked.
IShowSpeed's daredevil deed has caught the attention of content creators across the board, with Prime endorsers Olajide "KSI" and Logan Paul both commending the streamer's feat. KSI proceeded to call the creator "nuts" for the gnarly jump.
On the other hand, Logan Paul stated that he had experience in producing a video showcasing a similar jump, except he utilized special effects. Stating that he had gone "frame by frame" through the video, Logan also gave the video a green light in terms of apparent authenticity.
